No comparison to the Corsair Strafe I had before, on the K60 five keys broke in the first month, some defect with the plastic alloy they have. If you have an old Corsair, they might fit. They fit from the Strafe
The worst thing I have bought from a mechanical keyboard. The keys come off in the air from the moment I bought it. The inside of the buttons breaks (pattern). Only for the effect and nothing else. A shame for the money I spent on the purchase.
The buttons either break or need to be pressed multiple times. Luckily, I got it on sale for 50 euros and it lasted me almost 2 years, otherwise I would have completely regretted spending my money. I decided to rate it today as I was looking to buy a new keyboard.
Bad keyboard. I had been hearing about Corsair for so many years and I decided to try the K60 since it was on sale for 49.90 euros, but I was disappointed. I mainly used it for typing due to work and light gaming (no rage, smashing, etc).
Positives:
- Comfortable
- Quiet
- Simple, with the option to completely turn off the backlit keys (important for those of us who like minimalism).
Negatives:
- From the first week, 1/4 of the base of a button broke, causing it to be pressed and stay inside. It required a whole process for replacement and I didn't bother.
- Within the next 2-3 months, another button "broke" in a different way. As I was typing, it would simply pop out when pressed and I had to reattach it.
- Finally, in the 6th month of use, a third problem appeared with the "M" button. It randomly gets pressed 1 to 3 times while I'm typing, and sometimes strangely after the next letter. (I intentionally did not correct the last sentence as an example).
Very nice keyboard. It is low profile, meaning it doesn't make much noise. It is almost silent when you wear high-quality headphones. Your fingers don't slip off the keyboard and it is very comfortable with a nice feel when typing.
The only issue I had was with cleaning, the RGB lighting couldn't change colors as much as I hoped, and many times when I play games, the keys randomly come off for no reason, without me going crazy or getting angry. However, it is very nice. I got it at a cheaper price.
Bought it 1.5 years ago. Daily use for gaming and typing. The construction is satisfactory, brushed metal on the chassis, nice non-slip base underneath that doesn't slide on the desk even without a mousepad, the keycaps have remained the same as the day I bought it, meaning no material alteration. The switches are silent, which personally is something I wanted, and when I say silent, I mean the only sound you hear when pressing it is the sound the button makes when it reaches the bottom and hits it, the switches are not audible at all.
The only downside for me is that because it is so silent, it also has a soft keystroke, which means that many times a button may be accidentally pressed twice. This doesn't affect me much in games since it has anti-ghosting, but it bothers me in typing because many times I can write something and end up typing a letter twice. This happens because I hold it down a little longer than necessary and it registers it as 2 or even 3 keystrokes. However, this is something that can be gotten used to, for example, while typing this text, it didn't happen even once. For its price, it is a very good deal, but you need to get used to its buttons and how light it is. IT DOES NOT HAVE A BRAIDED CABLE!
