The controller is top-notch, nothing like the Xbox one that looks cheap. The buttons are harder and clickier, but once you get used to it, there's no going back. I've played it to death and it still looks brand new without any signs of wear. With the same usage, I repaired the RB of the Xbox three times in a year. It was worth the money.
Note that it is ONLY wired, which personally doesn't bother me because I consider the absence of input lag more important.
The LB button broke in the first week of non-daily use while playing God of War. After the replacement was made, I said that I would be unlucky and asked the store to send me a new one, as the money had been refunded. In less time this time, the same button broke in the exact same way. Now either I am very unlucky and got two faulty gamepads, or I am very bad at using them (the previous one of a different brand lasted for years), or this is of poor quality! Choose and decide.
P.S. Generally, I don't usually write reviews, but it amazes me how a product from this company has such performance and I wanted to share it... If someone told me, I wouldn't believe it... I still don't believe it, actually!
It is a very good to excellent controller from Razer. The problem is its cost. I would never pay 75-80 euros. So I was waiting to find a used one with a problem. For 14 euros that I got it and after a thorough cleaning and a button change as a precaution, I can say that it is perfect. I wouldn't pay 80, but for 14 that I got it, it is amazing
Very good controller. I've had it since last April and so far it's like new. No stick drift at all. It is very comfortable in the hands with very good grip. The extra buttons on the bumpers are in a very convenient spot, in front and between the lb lt rb rt buttons.
Very good quality construction, although not wireless it has a sufficiently long cable. The buttons and triggers also have a very good quality and sturdy construction. Overall, a very good upgrade from a simple and cheap game pad on the market for someone who has the ability to purchase it.
Very good controller! It's worth its money 100%. I had the classic xbox360 for years until the cable broke. Now I got this one and I have it for a couple of weeks. Daily use has proven it reliable. The only negative is the menu buttons that are higher compared to the previous one I had, but you get used to it. For me, with small hands, there is no problem but it took me a little time to get used to it.
I wouldn't buy it again. In a year and a half, the B stopped working. Uncomfortable after two hours on the fingers. I got it for better than the classic Microsoft one but I regretted it.
I have it for about 3 months now. Very good controller, sturdy, heavy as we say in hand, anyone can tell that it is a very high-quality controller!
So far, no drift on the thumbsticks, and even though it doesn't have extra paddles on the back, you can shorten the distance on the triggers when playing FPS and shoot 'em up games. It has M1 and M2 extra buttons next to the LT and RT. Very nice also for racing games. As for the noise on the buttons and triggers, it is not a negative thing, as the buttons are very well secured and of high quality, and you can tell that they won't wear out for years, even if they make a little more noise.
For its price, 75 euros, it is easily a class above any other in the market for this price range. Just pay attention to the following:
when you go to customize it in the razer controller setup application for Xbox or PC, when the application asks you to assign the LT button to the M1 button to test the sensitivity, and similarly for the RT button to the M2 button, afterwards, you have to reassign the previous button choice to the M1 and M2 buttons.
I got it for my son Jason who plays Forza Horizon 4 and 5, BNG Drive, Minecraft. It is high quality and ergonomic both in my hands and in my son's who is 8 years old. I have other RAZER products and all are on the same wavelength. I have had it since November 2023. Satisfied customer. One year later and it continues without problems.
I have had it for quite some time (over 6 months). It is a sturdy, clicky, and comfortable controller to hold. For its price, it is not worth it, in my opinion, at around 65-70 €, because the RB button started to not respond correctly and needs replacement/change. I am still searching to find a worthy replacement for the old Xbox Controllers 360, which were extremely durable and sturdy at a reasonable price.
Overall, it is a well-made product.
Its positives include very good buttons with quick response, relatively lightweight.
The sticks are very tight with no deviation.
Its negatives are that it differs slightly from the Xbox series controllers and other Xbox pro controllers. It's not exactly uncomfortable, but it's a little different that you have to get used to.
This controller is a step up in quality compared to Xbox series controllers in terms of quality, handling, and a step down from good pro controllers.
I don't regret buying it, the feeling is that I got something of high quality!
Within the first ten days, the remote control stopped being recognized by my computer...
Regarding the construction:
-I don't understand whose idea it was for the indicator light on the front to be SO bright. I had to cover it with tape because it was blinding.
-I don't understand whose idea it was for the cable to be non-removable on one end and 3 meters long on the other. Not practical at all if you're playing on a computer
Overall, it is worth its money (I bought it for 66 euros). It is sturdy, the handles have soft plastic to prevent slipping, and the mechanical buttons have a very nice feel. The only negative is that the R1 L1 buttons are generally a bit loose and give you the impression that they are cheaper in construction than the rest of the controller.
Perhaps the best gamepad I have ever held in my hands! Solid (as it should be), the feel of it from the beginning shows premium quality (better than the elite), the buttons are on another level, fast with a long non-removable cable and that is its only flaw. If you have something more, you can go for the Wolverines V2 Chroma with a removable and RGB cable. If you are not interested in these, then you just found the ultimate gamepad for PC and Xbox!
Unbelievable controller is the best thing you can buy, all the buttons are mechanical, it is sturdy, high-quality, beautiful, and vibrates with the slightest touch. If you have 100€ and want a controller, get it.
I am the owner of Xbox one s, so the original controller has its years but not much use.. the Razer is incredible!! It responds very quickly in the game and it is lightweight because it does not have batteries.. I found it through a used ad already 1 year and it is like new !! It is worth getting it, its quality is A+
Very good controller and high quality, it has an incredible grip and the handles do not slip at all. I thought it would be difficult for me compared to the Ps4 controller but in the end it's fine. It's worth it and more (I found it on sale for 65€). As for the noise of the buttons, it's a bit audible but personally it doesn't bother me at all.
My dear friends.....the best of the best!!!! Excellent quality....I don't usually give reviews but this control....you know it!!! I struggle with other buttons...this one understands nothing!!!!
The Controller is slightly larger than the regular Xbox One & Series X/S, so it is more suitable for male hands, it fits better in mine. It is high-quality and sturdy. I had doubts about the upper buttons (M1+M2) before buying it, how I would be able to press them, but my finger goes there effortlessly, I program the game's running, or the lock on and Jump in Soulsborne, and it suits me very well. That's it. Edit: About 6 months later, everything is like the first day except for the buttons (YXAB) whose color has almost faded, it is something completely unrelated to the overall quality of the Controller and I thought I should mention it.
The controller is of excellent quality, with a nice grip and exceptional feel on the analog sticks and buttons. The extra buttons next to the triggers provide a clear advantage in online FPS games. The downside is that the triggers do not have vibration like the classic controllers of the Xbox One/S/X
Every 6 months or so, I change the controller of my classic Xbox from Microsoft because a button breaks from use. This one seems very sturdy with mechanical buttons much superior to membranes and has an amazing grip, much better in my opinion. Of course, its price is a bit high and it's not wireless. If you find it around 100, I think it's worth it.
I was looking for something better than the quite mediocre Microsoft controller in my humble opinion. It has a very good feel, the keys are mechanical and not membrane like the MS, quite sturdy and everything one would expect from a good controller.
