The Edifier M1360 is a magnetically shielded 2.1 speaker system with a wired controller. It features two 2 x 2W satellites and a 4.5W subwoofer.
The 4-inch downward-firing subwoofer produces "full" and powerful bass and is housed in a medium-density MDF enclosure for high resistance to vibrations. With the front Bass Reflex port, you can enjoy your favorite music, movies, and TV series or play your favorite computer games with sound that has more "power" and "volume".
In a 2.1 sound system, the importance of the satellite speakers is as significant as that of the included subwoofer. The satellites of Edifier's 2.1 system house magnetically shielded 50 x 90 mm tweeter units. Each satellite boasts 2W of power for a total power output of 4W. Thanks to their modern design, they fit almost any desk or space.
At your disposal is a convenient wired controller with which you can control the volume or activate the mute function. Additionally, it incorporates a 3.5mm stereo jack.

Excellent speakers. Very clear sound. I have never used them above 40% due to a small room, so I can't comment on their volume.
We are talking about a set of speakers for 40 euros. 8 watts.
Low sound (1/8 - 1/4 of their max): They are honest, the lows are present and noticeable (kicks, bass) unlike other speakers worth 60 euros. The mids and highs are noticeable and give you a clear sound that provides a pleasant experience at night.
Medium sound (1/3 - 1/2 of their max): the lows are more noticeable and higher quality. If you put a Logitech stamp on these speakers and asked me to listen to them and told me they cost 100 euros, I would believe you. They are wonderful.
High sound (2/3 up to their max): wonderful, powerful bass. That's it. They are worth it

The statement "you get what you pay for" applies. However, in the case of the M1360 speakers, you know what you're getting. I haven't seen many speakers at this price range or even double the price range that provide details such as Total Harmonic Distortion plus Noise (THD+N) 10%, Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) 85dbA, Distortion < 0.5%, Sensitivity sat. 350mV +/- 50mV, woofer 250mV +/- 50mV, Impedance 10KΩ. They are available on the manufacturer's website and in some stores that respect themselves and their customers.
Their power is 2W for each satellite and 4.5W for the woofer. The frequencies they can reproduce are 150Hz-20KHz for the satellites and 20Hz-170Hz for the woofer.
I have had them for almost 2 years, I bought them for 35E. I use them for music, movies, and games. They haven't had any issues. Here are my impressions:
The build quality is average. The satellites have plastic cabinets, while the woofer is made of MDF, and I don't think they have internal sound-absorbing padding (I don't open them as long as they are under warranty). The cables have thin insulation, and they are powered by a regular socket. The woofer only has an on/off switch, and the volume adjustment is only done through the remote, which also has an on/off button. It's compact, so you can have it near you on your desk and place the woofer on the floor for a more intense bass. The cable length is satisfactory.
Regarding sound, the speakers sound crystal clear (at least up to volume level 9, after that they distort slightly) for low volume, music, and movies. For a good stereo image, they need a distance of 70-80cm between them and 10cm from the back and side walls/shelves. The bass is moderate; I would prefer it to be fuller, but it can be adjusted by lowering the frequency on an equalizer program. They don't have a bass volume control. They are not meant for parties, but their sound easily fills a 10-15 square meter room. I believe they deserve 5 stars and the 35E price. I wouldn't go for something more expensive given the limited capabilities of my integrated sound card (Alc-87). 100% recommended for me.
I bought these specific speakers in December 2020. The sound is decent for their price, but the bass constantly operates without being adjustable, which can be annoying. However, I give them 2 stars because within 10 months, the first satellite stopped working in the first set, which was replaced by the store, and 10 months later, the second set had the same problem with the same satellite. Therefore, I do not consider them a reliable purchase. Personally, I would not buy them again. I would prefer to spend a bit more for a more reliable option. In the price range of 20-40, it's difficult to find something substantially good. (I also had similar Logitech speakers that had issues.)
The headphones have an incredibly clear sound. I bought them 2 years ago and they still have the same performance as when I first bought them. I got them for 80 euros and now they have dropped to 30 euros!!! I RECOMMEND THEM 100%
What you give, you eventually get. The speakers were working fine at first. The sound is okay, mediocre, their bass is lousy but they do the job well. However, a year later their poor construction cost me the entire sound system. The cables are irreplaceable and now I have to make an effort to come up with solutions to fix the poorly constructed cables. It would have been better if I had spent 10-20 euros more and gotten something that I knew would last. Stay away from this.
Well, the speakers were bought at a price of about 30 euros. In terms of construction, the two small speakers are plastic, but believe me, they have nothing to envy from the others. The sound is great even at high volumes. They are loud enough to be heard throughout the house, but only at full volume does the sound quality slightly deteriorate (indeed, it deteriorates very little). The only negative is that the only thing you can control is the volume, nothing else. As the volume increases, so does the bass. There is no application from the company to play around with the sound, it's plug and play! Overall, very satisfied, especially considering their price. Now, if you have 20 euros more to spend, obviously you will find better options.
I have been using them for over 2 years and overall I am satisfied.
The sound is satisfactory and "clean" at acceptable volumes, although sometimes the bass gets lost resulting in a slightly "thin" sound.
My complaint is about the build quality, not the speakers, but the controller-switch.
Over time, it has stopped isolating, causing the speakers to always be on and needing to adjust their function from the volume.
The other functions, headphones-volume, work fine but definitely not a good sign for the longevity of the system.
For their price, they are a good purchase. Well-known brand with okay sound.

I received the speakers as a gift, but I tried them for about an hour.
The review is based on the money they cost and I compare them to my own speakers that I have had for 6 years, which cost 2.5 to 3 times more than these and are 38 watts. (Genius SW-G2.1 1250 2.1)
Let's start with the positives:
They look nice and due to the fact that the woofer is long and slim, you can easily place them on the desk or behind the screen if you don't have space, while the small speakers/satellites are thin and small, you can place them upright or sideways. In my case, we placed them under the screen because there was no space. The build quality is very good, the only thing that seemed a bit cheap to me was the mesh on the small speakers.
They come with a separate volume controller, so you don't need to adjust the volume behind the woofer like in cheap speakers. Additionally, where you adjust the volume, there is a button that mutes the sound and a Jack port for direct connection of your headphones. Unfortunately, the Jack port is located on the top of the device, causing the headphone cable to bend and possibly placing the cable where you don't want it.
The sound is quite good, something I didn't expect for this price. The bass is pleasant even at higher volumes. Overall, I can't say that they sound bad. If someone says something negative about the sound, they must have come from a studio or they are comparing them in their mind to speakers that cost much more than these.
Negatives:
It has one negative aspect that plays a big role compared to my own speakers, it doesn't have a bass controller. This means that as you increase the volume, the bass also increases. In my speakers, I have it and it helps me a lot when listening to music. This can help in various situations. For example, if it's late at night, you can play the speakers at a low volume while increasing the bass so that it is noticeable. Or you can play the speakers loudly and adjust the bass to your liking, or it may not have any bass at all so as not to disturb the neighbors with the tremor of the woofer. This doesn't mean that the sound is not of good quality, but some people who plan to buy it may find it necessary to adjust the bass/woofer separately.
Final result:
The speakers are excellent for this price. They don't have the issue like Creative speakers that go into power-saving mode on their own and stop working with the slightest touch. They have a separate device to adjust the volume, which is right in front of you instead of going behind the woofer. They are nice-looking and easy to place. The bass was really good, and the small speakers were average to good depending on the song and volume.
I can't predict how long they will last, but if anything happens, I will update.
Update: 7 months have passed and my friend has had no issues with the speakers.
Update: Since the evaluation until today (15/12/21), there have been no problems. They work the same as when I bought them.
Powerful speakers for the office, the system that adjusts the sound is very nice, of course its existence means more cables but ok. They are worth their money and more.
Edit: I wrongly gave them 4 stars. The speakers now, over time (4 years in my case), prove their steady value. 5 stars and they deserve it.
I bought the following speakers as a gift. So, I opened them to check that everything works correctly. I noticed the following errors, which are unnecessary in my opinion. Firstly, the speakers are connected to each other with a single cable that ends in a 3.5mm plug and connects to the bass amplifier. In case one of the two speakers breaks and you want to replace it, you will need to buy a set of speakers and not just the one that broke. Let's overlook this because the chances of something happening to the speakers suddenly are small. Let's move on to the other more tragic mistake that scares me more. They have put a 3.5mm plug cable on the bass amplifier to connect your device. WHY?? Was it too difficult for you to put an AUX or RCA port? So, if the plug breaks from continuous plugging and unplugging and I need to open the entire bass amplifier to fix it with all the risks involved, instead of simply buying a new AUX cable in case you had a port. Honestly, when I saw this, I was extremely disappointed. Anyway, despite the significant negatives, especially the second one, the sound system has good construction, the sound is satisfactory, but the volume is not that great. I liked the mute button, but the volume controller required some force to turn. For this price, I don't know if you can get something better, so do some research. Personally, for my computer, I have the Genius SW-G2.1 1250, which are +30 euros but are in no way comparable to these Edifier speakers in all aspects. That's why I found these mistakes in the Edifier speakers disappointing.
Simple perfect for their money. If you have a good sound source, the sound doesn't deteriorate at high volumes. However, you could spend a little more and get something much better, like the Logitech z333.
When you see the size, you definitely don't believe that they can play so well. I am involved with music and sound, but I wanted something small and affordable for my computer and I was really impressed. With a little EQ, they become even more "crystal clear". They are probably not speakers for someone to listen to full-on Electro house, for example, but they play everything exceptionally well at normal volumes. For those who ask for something like this, don't spend any extra euros!
After 3.5 years of heavy use, I have to say that I am very satisfied. The sound clarity is excellent throughout the volume range. They lack a bit in power, but you gain in quality. And as for the construction materials, they are very good. For 2.1 speakers under 35 euros, I believe you won't find better!
Very good choice. Clean sound, bass as it should be, with the volume at max you can hide proportionally to their power, remote wired control. For this money, I don't think anything better can be found and the build quality does not reflect their price in any case
