It does nothing else but throw punches. No matter which button you press. Not to mention it makes an INCREDIBLE noise. My son (8 years old) played with it maybe 2-3 times for 5 minutes each and rightfully got bored of it. No interest, perhaps the most wasted money we spent on a toy and it wasn't cheap. Get something else better.
For now, it seems to work well and keeps both my sons (10 & 7 years old) occupied for a good amount of time
In recent years, trips to amusement parks have been a disappointment. The games are very expensive, where the quality of construction, but mainly the reliability, is below average. My children do seem to have fun for now, but the robots only throw punches as some have already written. It's a shame that the directions don't work, it would add another level of interest and improve the children's abilities. Now it's a matter of luck who will hit the other. I don't know if the child's interest will fade first or if we will throw away another €40 game because it broke.
Santa Claus brought it as a gift for my 6.5-year-old son. He was very excited about it. Since the day before yesterday, he has been playing with it constantly, either with his sister or with me. I read many reviews saying that all the buttons do the same thing. That's not true. If he presses the right or left arrow, it will start spinning....slowly, but it will spin. If the movements were perfectly accurate, it wouldn't cost 40€...but 80€!
Anyway, in short, it's a game that children, especially under 8-9 years old, will enjoy. It's good to get rechargeable batteries, 6AA, for the robots (the controller doesn't need them), because it seems to be power-hungry.
Nice as an idea but that's about it. The buttons all do the same thing. Some just have a stronger rotation from one side, and some from the other. Completely useless
What bothers me is that it says on the packaging that it moves left, right, and forward, plus it throws punches, which is not true! All they do is throw punches, regardless of which button you press.
The only thing it does is throw punches... In 5 minutes the interest is over...
