Elemental zinc in picolinate form, which is considered the most absorbable. Useful in cases of male infertility, anorexia nervosa, and various cases of inflammations and infections, rheumatoid arthritis, acne, macular degeneration, and senile dementia.

Increased needs exist in conditions of pregnancy, breastfeeding, surgeries, injuries, and alcoholism. Zinc deficiency is often seen in alcoholics, vegetarians, and the elderly.

High doses of zinc can adversely affect copper levels (and vice versa). Although scientific opinions on the ideal copper-zinc ratio vary, for prolonged periods of use, a ratio of 1:7.5 and 1:10 copper to zinc may be necessary.

    Below are my observations after several months of using it 3-4 times per week, at the age of 26 and with approximately 5 workouts per week with weights:

    + Combine it with magnesium from the same company. Magnesium and zinc go hand in hand, now why, google it.
    + I don't know if there is a difference in terms of fertility, but sexually there is.
    + It has never caused me any nausea or anything else.
    + Although the company recommends taking it with food, after so many months of taking it before sleep, I had no problem.
    + There was a difference in terms of sleep, but I can't be sure if it was due to the zinc or increased fatigue from exercising.
    + Fair price, unlike its magnesium sibling...

    - I have hereditary hair loss and although I didn't take it for that reason, I didn't see any difference.
    - As for nails, it didn't do much on its own. In combination with magnesium, there was a difference.
