High potency magnesium citrate dietary supplement for the smooth functioning of the adrenal glands, the normalization of symptoms related to stress, and the smooth production of energy in the body. Additionally, it helps in the elimination of ammonia from the body and in the regulation of heartbeats, muscle contraction, and neurotransmission. The citrate form provides higher magnesium absorption, while it is particularly useful for the elderly and individuals with low stomach acidity. Suitable for vegans.

The pills are very large! The magnesium calms my body, I have better sleep and finally the cramps are gone. The order arrived in record time! Kudos to Scroutz, it made things easier for me!
I got it to help me sleep, I didn't exactly know where else it helps. Four days after I started it, my period came. I hardly felt any pain and I was surprised. With a little research, I discovered that this change is likely due to magnesium. I think it also helped me with constipation. I will continue taking it and we'll see.
I wanted the citric magnesium for many reasons.
1) Reduction of oxalic acid absorption from food (due to kidney stone issues)
2) Cramps in the legs (due to venous insufficiency)
3) For unstable sleep and for migraines
4) For hormone regulation combined with evening Primrose (for those of you with ovarian cysts)
I have to say that it has completely satisfied me. It has eliminated the cramps, works on migraines better than painkillers, helps with the muscle fatigue I had before my period, and the difference in sleep quality is very noticeable compared to when I wasn't taking it (I sleep deeper and "fuller"). The only thing I'm not sure about yet is the first one, as it will show long-term in tests. In general, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has any of the above; it is of very good quality and really works. I take only 1 capsule a day.
I have not tried a similar product, but I consider this one quite satisfactory, as it has minimized the cramps I had during sleep. I take 2 pills on an almost daily basis (noon - evening) and I am quite satisfied. The only downside is the large size of the pill, which makes it difficult to swallow. Recommended.
Due to high sugar, I tend to have cramps in my calves. For 2-3 days I start feeling small contractions and pulls in the muscles and then the painful cramp comes. However, if I take magnesium immediately, 1 capsule daily for 1-2 days, my legs calm down for months.
Besides that, for maintaining magnesium levels, I take around 1 capsule per week, for years now. I no longer have the frequent headaches and stiffness in the shoulders that I used to have, and I sleep immediately, deeply and undisturbed for 8 hours.
Edit - After more experience with the product, I changed my opinion. It doesn't relieve my cramps as much as I expected, which was the main reason I bought it. The first one I tried gave me a burst of energy for a while and then relaxation that helped me sleep at night. I took one every night, either after dinner or half an hour before I went to bed. As the days went by, their effectiveness decreased, as if my body got used to them, and after a week of use, they didn't do much for me. I took a break for 2-3 days, but it was the same. If they did relieve my cramps that I experience during sleep or when I wake up, it was only partially. I'm going back to the Quest Synergistic Magnesium 150mg with Vitamin B6, which one pill alone covered me and I didn't have any cramps, not even for fun, for one or two days. Maybe it has to do with each person's body, because it's true, they seem even more high-quality than the Quest ones. So don't rely on my experience. The truth is, I asked a pharmacist who had both brands and another well-known one, but they recommended the Quest. So I'm going back to that one, because it's terrible and unbearable to have cramps with terrible pain and the whole neighborhood hears you screaming, as if someone is cutting your muscles with an axe to remove them. Two bananas a day cover me better to avoid cramps (thanks to the trainer who told me!), If you get a cramp and don't have magnesium, eat a banana immediately, it relieves very quickly and keeps you from experiencing it again for at least 24 hours.
Edit: I went back to the Quest Synergistic Magnesium 150mg with Vitamin B6 and found my health! No cramps, no side effects, they are also smaller and easier to swallow, and the box contains 30 more pills, plus they come in glass jars with a metal lid, like Solgar, instead of plastic jars, if you want them for cramps, get the Quest ones.
It helped me quite a bit. The only problem is the large capsules since I take two at a time. Other than that, it did what it promised. It helped me sleep to an impressive degree.
I have been buying it for years. It helps with relaxation, muscle recovery from exercise, and sensitive bowel/constipation issues because it is a muscle relaxant. Two before sleep and you wake up differently in the morning! However, the capsules are huge and difficult to swallow, so much so that I am now considering changing brands
From research I did, I saw that they have good absorption by the body. Of course, there are more effective forms of magnesium but they are value for money and from the best companies in the supplements industry.
A bombshell!!!! Since I got it within a few days, it did what is stated in the description and something more personally helped me FULLY do heavy manual work daily without a day off 6 out of 7 and I had a big issue with rest and sleep. I didn't have any quality sleep anymore, now I fall into a deep sleep for houououours and wake up as a different person!!! LIFE CHANGING EXPERIENCE
• Magnesium citrate is a much better choice than L-threonate, oxide, and hydroxide for overall bodily health because it has better absorption.
• If the reason you choose it is purely for better muscle recovery and energy, then malate might be worth considering instead of citrate.
• Also, if you choose it purely for better mood and mental health, then glycinate might be worth considering, as it contains less magnesium overall but "passes through" to the brain.
• Generally, the recommended daily dosage is 250-450mg. The packaging specifies 2 tablets per day, which is 400mg. Those who take 2 tablets should have eaten because magnesium citrate can cause gastrointestinal issues such as diarrhea when taken in doses of 350mg and above.
• For deeper and consequently better sleep, it is recommended to combine it with melatonin 2-3 hours before sleep.
• The company is reliable.
• The price should be below €20, but due to high hype, there is exploitation from the pharmaceutical industry.
For those complaining about the size of the pill: you place it in your mouth, drink water without immediately swallowing the pill, until your mouth is filled with water. Then you swallow and whoosh! it goes down smoothly
I had a big problem with insomnia, especially 7-8 days before my period. They recommended magnesium to me and I really feel like a different person. Since I started taking it, I haven't woken up in the middle of the night once, my sleep is much better, it calms me down. Also, the headaches and weakness that I felt almost daily have stopped. Excellent product.
The 5 stars are not nearly enough!
I suffered for years from very intense period pains, and even strong painkillers took a while to kick in. Until someone recommended that I take magnesium, and after doing some research, I ended up with this product!
I take 2 tablets/day (one at lunchtime and one in the evening), along with a 100mg B6 capsule from the same company, for 15 days before my period. It's not that I don't feel any pain during my period, but the pain is x1000 more bearable, and I take half the amount of painkillers compared to the past.
I have also recommended it to 3 of my acquaintances, and they noticed a reduction in pain (without taking the B6 capsules in combination).
Truly, the quality of my life has been upgraded. Certainly, every organism is different, and it may work perfectly for me, but not for another girl. However, I strongly advise them to give it a try!
I take magnesium citrate after my doctor's recommendation for treating insomnia as I am opposed to the use of sleeping pills due to their many and dangerous side effects. I take one magnesium pill at noon and one an hour before sleep. After three months of use, I sleep much better than before, although it takes about a month for the results to show. Perhaps a drawback is that it is a large pill and difficult to swallow, but chewing it is no problem, as it is completely tasteless. It is now an integral part of the supplements I take (magnesium citrate, B12, picolinate chromium, and vitamin D3).
Very large pills and you have to take two. In terms of effectiveness, I haven't seen anything amazing yet, but it probably needs more time. I didn't see any difference in sleep, but I didn't expect it either since I have insomnia and difficulty sleeping always.
huge size like a small suppository, those who have trouble swallowing large pills should find something else...
Update Nov.24: in fact it is not a large pill, but a small suppository, only that you take it orally. One out of two times I was choking when I took it, and I ended up being afraid to swallow it, so goodbye....
In combination with Rymanyl, it helped me a lot with my neck pain. Within a week, the pain improved and I slept without waking up with pain in the morning.
I bought it because I was experiencing frequent leg cramps, either from fatigue or walking.
For the past month that I have been using it, my cramps have decreased significantly. I will continue using it... :-)
The product simply does not exist. I bought it for insomnia, as well as cramps and dry lips symptoms that indicate magnesium deficiency. I take one pill every night and fall asleep within the next 10 minutes automatically. The pill is huge for swallowing, so I chew it. It has no taste, it's like eating flour. It lasts for a very long time, 4 months. I recommend it.
