Dietary supplement that provides support and enhancement of the structure of joints, cartilage, and tendons. I have been using it for about 10 days and I can say that I felt the first difference from the third day. Here I should note that there is indeed a mistake on the Greek label, which states one pill per day, while the recommended dosage is actually three pills per day (at least for someone who has a problem and is not taking it for maintenance).
Now let's move on. I am 31 years old and have had chronic joint problems since I was 12. I have knee sensitivity, and throughout my life, I have been involved in sports such as running, cycling, and swimming. My knees have been quite strained due to constant standing.
I had recently reached a point where I experienced pain while walking and couldn't exercise at all because my knees hurt not only when I walked but also when I slept or sat in a chair (obviously, I couldn't cross one leg over the other).
I searched the internet for joint supplements and started taking this one after consulting with my doctor (Now here, there is no one answer for everyone, some may see a difference, others may not). I personally noticed a difference from the third day, where the knee pain disappeared, especially when sitting.
After the first week, I started to see improvements in walking, running, and weightlifting at the gym. The pain, stiffness, and burning sensation significantly decreased, and now I feel strong enough to rely on my knees.
I should mention here that I don't have any serious issues apart from simple joint problems (of the autoimmune type). I would give it 5 stars, but I'm giving it 4 due to the price-quantity ratio because taking 3 pills a day and 60 pills, well, it becomes a bit expensive. Of course, it contains the whole complex that if one were to take chondroitin, glucosamine, and hyaluronic acid separately, it would probably be more expensive.
Also, if someone really has a problem and wants to see improvement, they need to take 3 pills to reach the 1500mg, which is the daily dosage that the joints need to start rebuilding. Taking fewer milligrams won't help. Maybe after 3 months for maintenance, you can take 1 pill instead of 3, but to see results based on what the medical community suggests, you need 1500mg.
I will definitely get a second bottle and then see.
These supplements work as aids for orthopedic problems, and it is not easy to evaluate their contribution because someone who has a problem also does other things (exercise, therapies, rest, etc.) that have a more significant impact on the issue.
So in this review, I will not talk about effectiveness but about the MISLEADING INFORMATION written on the packaging regarding the dosage.
On the label, which is in Greek, it says one tablet per day, but when you peel it off, you see the original English label underneath, which states three tablets per day! So, all this time, I have been taking the wrong dosage, and so many tablets have been wasted, along with the money they cost and the help I have been trying to give to my body.
I started taking them due to knee pain I had from exercise and strain. It has been the third month that I have been taking them (3 a day) and, as much as I hoped to see a difference, I don't feel they have helped particularly with anything. I don't know if more time is needed for them to work and of course every body is different. But I think that, given their high price, I will not continue taking them since the results are not noticeable.
I took it for 2 months upon the recommendation of the orthopedic (1 pill daily) for the bone edema I had in my hip from a fracture. To be honest, I don't know how it acted and if it actually helped; in any case, I am in the 3rd month and the discomfort/sharp pain from the edema has decreased a lot. I will continue taking it for another month and we'll see.
Attention where you buy from!!!! From the store I bought it, they sent me a product that did not have the brand name (metaflex) on the label! I contacted them and they simply told me that the company changed the packaging. I eventually went and got it from somewhere else (physical store) where the brand name was written on the packaging
Very good supplement!! I take it for my mother who has osteoarthritis and her knees hurt. As long as she takes them and for a while afterwards, she doesn't hurt!!
It definitely doesn't work wonders, but it caught my attention much more than the osteoflex plus (meniscus and dislocated shoulder). Very difficult to swallow, I was dissolving them and drinking them in water even though they have a carpet-like taste
I have bought two bottles so far and have been using it for almost 4 months. There is absolutely no difference in the problem with the tendons in the shoulders, it remains the same, absolutely no difference
It was recommended by an orthopedic doctor because I have some pain in my knees and Achilles tendon, and I have seen improvement in one week with one pill daily (okay, quite expensive hence the 4 stars)
It helped me with a mild meniscus tear, a small tear in the bag that holds the lubricant in the knee. Serious stuff.
After a doctor's recommendation, I took 2 capsules daily along with some stretching exercises. 2 months and boom!
The leg fully recovered without arthroscopy or any surgery.
I continued taking them alongside gym workouts, and I had no injuries. From me, it's 100/100, 5 stars.
PS. If someone taking them doesn't see any improvement within a month, it's good to visit a doctor or even another doctor for a second opinion, in case something is stuck and requires treatment
I bought it for arthritis in my shoulder and a 4mm tendon tear. I have been taking it for 2 months now and I haven't seen any improvement, not even 2%
Just bought it, we'll see. I ate it with a bite of bread with butter that I had chewed before and then I put the pill in between and didn't feel anything. This is for those who have difficulty swallowing.
The label on top in Greek recommends not exceeding one capsule daily. Upon opening the label, the factory label in English is revealed, which states three capsules daily. The recommendation from an orthopedic specialist for a 42-year-old man with a sore shoulder from the gym is two capsules. And that there will be no improvement even if you take more in a month.
It is a powerful vitamin for any musculoskeletal injury problem. When my brother had a serious foot surgery, I took it and used it myself to see what it is about and it helped me with my own leg issues. It works miracles as long as we have common sense and basic understanding. For example, if you are overweight and have joint problems, it will help you too, but you will need to lose weight. When I first took it, I felt improvement in the two areas where I had problems after a few weeks. Unfortunately, after a while of using it, I developed an allergy and had to stop.
Unfortunately, as mentioned in other reviews, it is extremely difficult to evaluate such products as it depends on the individual and how they will work with your body, etc. So, the rating is subjective from my perspective.
The 2 stars have been deducted for the following reasons (which have also been mentioned in other reviews):
1- Tablet size... honestly, I don't understand this company. I already take their Immune dietary supplement, which also has huge capsules, and when I saw that these are even bigger, I felt desperate (to be fair, they are slightly "shorter" than the Immune ones, but much thicker, and that's the problem). I don't understand why they don't make them all smaller, even if you have to take more capsules/tablets at a time. Not all of us have drainage pipes for throats.
2- Taste... it's difficult to swallow with such a size, without any coating, and with such a bad taste.
What can I say, personally, I will try to continue taking them (I have already been taking them for 11 days), but I don't think I can handle more than a month. I will have to find another product.

I use it for my knees and it is effective. When there is intense discomfort, I use it for a month simultaneously with the 7 from the same company.
I have been using them for 65 days and I haven't seen any difference or improvement in my arthritis problems. What I have noticed and really dislike is that they have a very strong smell!!!!!!! After 2 months of use and countless glasses of water, my hips don't hurt as much and I can finally sleep at night, much better than before...
It helps to a degree of total therapy after 6-8 months (first improvement). It improved me tremendously in my right knee with patellar chondromalacia to the point where I limped a few days a year. It also helped my mother a lot with osteoarthritis in her left knee, which also caused her to limp. Whoever believes it should try it with patience. I did not undergo any other treatment simultaneously and I have to say that maybe I was helped from elsewhere. The pill is quite large and somewhat difficult to swallow.
I have a problem in one knee with cartilage, the doctor told me to take this supplement for 3 months along with physiotherapy if I have a lot of pain, but I ended up only taking the supplement. My job is being a waiter, so I run kilometers every day. I started taking the supplement when I was working and I started to see improvements in my knee within two months. I have another one as well. If I didn't strain my leg at work, maybe I would have seen results faster. Take it, it's worth it. I also did check-up exams before and after taking the supplement, everything is fine, it didn't affect me in any way. I will choose Solgar again!

These products are generally difficult to evaluate because they work differently for each person. I bought it because I have a problem with my elbow due to tennis (tennis elbow). I took 2 or 3 a day after meals. At the same time, I was doing strengthening and stretching exercises every day. After a month, I started to see a difference. To the point that even though I had planned to start playing tennis again, I didn't start and continued with the method (pills + exercises) until the discomfort completely disappeared. On the days I do the exercises, I also wear the elbow brace to prevent strain on the tendons. As for many people who say that the pill is big, it's true. It is by far one of the largest I have swallowed, but personally it doesn't bother me. I don't agree with cutting the pill into smaller portions, they are designed to slide down the esophagus and their shape is specific. It's better to crush it with a mortar and pestle and mix it with water or honey and swallow it that way. I will buy it again.
Do not throw your money on similar products. I have bought large quantities for months and the result is minimal. This specific one, like most products, claims to contain everything but there is no corresponding result according to the users. It is better to invest in a physical therapy set with this money.
I have been using it for about a year (one capsule per day) - recommended by an orthopedic doctor - and it brings results. Compared to Solgar's No 7, I find it much better. If combined with exercise, the results are also better and faster. I have grade 4 osteoarthritis in my knee and now I can walk and exercise normally without any discomfort.
Some patience is needed at the beginning (at least one month without noticeable improvement). The problems for me are two: that it is expensive and that it needs to be accompanied by plenty of water (at least 1-2 glasses), otherwise after a while there may be stomach issues.
I have been using it for years and it is excellent although somewhat expensive... It takes some time to work and see results.

I have normal wear and tear on my meniscus and developed chondropathy suddenly, which I realized because it caused me Baker's cysts. I had an MRI and the orthopedic recommended that I take them. The product does its job. In the first month, I saw a big difference, but later on, I experienced intense itching all over my body. Now I have stopped taking it and the itching is subsiding. So, unfortunately, it causes an allergic reaction for me, so even though it worked on my knees for two months that I took it, I will not use it again.
For the dosage it has, it is very expensive. It is 60 capsules and in order to get a satisfactory amount of the ingredients, you have to take 3 capsules, which means it only lasts for 20 days... for 30€... I would say whoever wants something for joints should look into Animal Flex and for collagen, the bone broth
For those who say they didn't buy it because it's not swallowable: indeed, it is huge, but you can cut it into two or more pieces and take it gradually while you eat, it also chews comfortably. Try it because it's worth it!
I don't know if you feel better because you know you're taking a supplement... Very expensive if you consider that the correct dosage is 3 pills per day... The same of course applies to all similar products!
I don't know the quality and the results because the capsules are so big that they cannot be swallowed. I didn't use it
