The writing of this book emerged from the self-awareness lessons of the group that has been operating for the last 20 years. The idea was to decode the Revelation of John. Subsequently, the idea arose to transcribe the lessons with the aim of turning them into a book. 

Panagiota, who took on the majority of this work, agreed to do the transcription, and after about five years, we had all the material recorded. The only thing left was to give it the form of a book. Over these five years, more than 30 people have participated in the self-awareness group, which aimed and still aims (as the lessons continue) to discover and reveal our own inner self, following the steps of Jesus Christ, through the vision of John.

Historical Background: John, the disciple of Christ, wrote the Revelation at the age of about 86 to 90 years old, in 96 AD on Patmos, where he was exiled during the reign of Emperor Domitian. To be precise, John, in a state of ecstasy, dictated, and his disciple Prochorus, who had followed and served him, wrote it down.

John had been beside Christ since the age of 18, and all those years he learned to seek the inner truth. He was accompanied by Prochorus, who had followed him into exile and helped him survive on the island, as John was of advanced age. They lived in a cave high on the mountain, and one Sunday in 96 AD, John began to hear a voice, as if coming... "from behind." 

Modern psychologists, with the phrase "from behind," meaning the voice that seems to be heard from "the back of the head," refer to the inner voice that comes from the subconscious. It was as if he was in a state of deep hypnosis. The Revelation was given to John, who was in a state of trance (the deepest level of hypnosis).

The Revelation is the subject for which the most books have been written. Many interpretations have been given, theological, cosmological, prophetic, metaphysical, historical, etc., and everyone has seen it as a prophecy and has decoded it in relation to the external world, the world of senses.

However, something cannot symbolize the external world if it does not first symbolize something within us, something internal. As Hermes Trismegistus said, "as above, so below." The outside (below) is made according to the inside (above).
