I have combination to oily skin. I bought it because I use retinol and I wanted a product that would "combat" peeling. With retinol, you aim for skin regeneration, so peeling is normal (with proper use), in other words, the goal is to protect my skin (to help the resistance of my skin against various factors). In general, I would say that for this purpose, it is a very good product.
As usual, as soon as I opened it, I checked the expiration date, and I saw that it only lasts for 6 months. I use retinol 2-3 nights a week, so I wouldn't finish 200ml before six months for any reason. So I started using it daily instead of my moisturizer (it was the only change in my routine). The results are both positive and negative...
Initially, it is a heavy product (it doesn't fully absorb, I still feel it on my skin even after a few hours). With daily use, my face appeared more oily. Due to quarantine, this didn't bother me at all, so I continued to use it daily for about a month... And yes, the oiliness may be elsewhere BUT I have never seen my skin so healthy and smooth with any other combination of products. When I'm going out, I use my regular moisturizer, and I don't look shiny from afar, otherwise, I use this one morning and night because my skin really loves it.
I have also tried it on my body, it does a very good job in terms of hydration compared to others. What impressed me in this case is that it made my skin softer in areas affected by follicular hyperkeratosis. The appearance didn't change much, but the texture changed dramatically!
The truth is that if it wasn't for the quarantine, most of it would either go to waste or be used as a body cream. So in terms of quality/price, I believe that if it was in a smaller quantity or lasted longer, it would be more cost-effective because it does the job it is intended for 100%.
Having said all that, I recommend it to anyone who wants to improve/protect their skin (e.g. to help with redness from sensitivity or pimples, etc.) or as a night moisturizer.
