I am undergoing treatment with isotretinoin pills and this cream seemed really good to me! It wasn't heavy like others and moisturized very well. After a recent change they made to the product (same exact packaging and name but with the addition of Iso-Biome in the title), I am not as satisfied. It seems to not absorb as well as before and if I accidentally rub my face, it creates "flakes". I am still using it for now and hope they fix it.

I give it 4 stars because it helped me a lot in the beginning with dryness, but after a few months of continuous use, my skin changed and went from dry to combination. So, I simply avoided using the cream on the oily areas because it would cause more acne. Other than that, it is an excellent cream and I highly recommend it.

I started using it last year as a moisturizer for acne treatment, but I still use it now and I don't think I will ever change creams. It is very moisturizing without being heavy and it absorbs easily. Personally, I wouldn't want it to have a scent, but it is so pleasant that it doesn't bother me.

The only moisturizing cream that saved me from the dryness caused by isotretinoin treatment. Not a single day did I have "white" flakes around my mouth.

I bought it when I started treatment for acne. I had very oily skin and with the treatment it has become combination, so I don't exactly have dry skin. I was surprised by how lightweight it is, it absorbs very quickly and has good ingredients. I will continue to use it regardless of treatment because it sits very well on my own skin, but I don't know how satisfying it would be for other skins that show very intense dryness due to treatment.

I have been using it for years and no matter what I try, I always come back to this one. I have oily, acne-prone skin and I don't do any treatments that cause dryness. For the summer months, it is slightly more moisturizing without causing breakouts, but it leaves a healthy glow. For the winter months, it provides the hydration that my skin needs without adding oiliness. It spreads very easily, but unfortunately, it finishes quickly and it has a scent. These are the only negatives about it.

The best thing for anyone undergoing isotretinoin treatment!! The only cream that saved me from the dry skin caused by the treatment...

It leaves a lot of greasiness. Also, when the skin is irritated from acne treatment and I apply it, the skin stings and becomes even more red. It smells like cheap cologne.

I started using it when I started my acne treatment with pills. My skin did not dehydrate for a period of 6 months (except for a maximum of 5 days when I had peeling around the nose and mouth), it never got further irritated. It was just a cream exactly as my skin needed during this period. Light on the skin, quickly absorbed, it does not leave any greasiness even now that I have finished the treatment. Also, its appearance on the skin, for me at least, is not completely matte but it does not shine either. It gives me the appearance of healthy, moisturized skin, something I did not expect.

After a year of use and after my skin returned to normal levels after the treatment, I noticed that some blackheads appeared on my forehead and cheeks. It is possible that this specific cream is responsible since it is quite rich for my now normal skin. It provides great hydration and leaves a nice feeling on the skin, but unfortunately, for now, I have stopped using it.

It really calms the skin and moisturizes, but unfortunately it causes pimples in some areas like around the mouth

I bought it as a day cream for the winter as a soothing treatment for initial "peeling" and then for irritation and dryness of my sensitive skin, after daily evening use of adaferin/adapalene gel 0.3 and then 0.2% for the treatment of cystic acne. It leaves the skin hydrated and comfortable, without feeling heavy at that time, but later on, in areas like the forehead and nose where I don't have acne, it caused oiliness from spring onwards, because I have combination to oily skin. Also, its fragrance irritates my skin, I wish skincare products were not scented. Now that I'm using the 0.1%, I don't need to buy this specific one again, since it ran out, so I bought Effaclar K to try. So I recommend it for dry skin or as a concurrent treatment for acne that causes irritation, especially for winter.

For treatment with isotretinoin, it is an amazing product. And the rating I give is for this case.
However, I had also used it during a period when I was treating acne with creams and it didn't help me, it was like putting oil on my oily skin.
