It is quite good and fast access point for its price. It is easy to manage through a browser, it has everything one may want in terms of functionality and security, and it can work with Omada (software or hardware) controller, with good Cloud integration. It also works very well with PoE with any 802.3af PoE switch. Very important is that the package includes a power supply, saving the cost of a PoE injector for someone who does not have a PoE switch. These are the good things. However, it has one limitation: it is not supported by the latest software of the hardware controller. Therefore, in mixed use with other more modern Omada access points, it limits the software to the version of the controller that supports it, without further upgrade capability.
This access point has very good capabilities, especially when combined with the Omada software or hardware controller. It is a very good solution for small managed WiFi installations with 5 to 10 access points. The Omada controller has very good functionality and is easy to manage, with cloud integration capabilities. However, its (internal) antennas do not seem very good to me, with corresponding mediocre results in range and speeds. Its weight is small, which also "indicates" small antennas. On the contrary, other APs in its category are heavier and probably have better range/speeds, usually at a higher cost. On the positive side, it includes a passive PoE injector, saving 10-20 euros for someone who does not have a PoE switch. As for its features, it is very rich, supporting all the latest protocols, MU-MIMO wave 2, beamforming, WMM, roaming, band steering, airtime fairness, full security and authentication functions, etc.
[update] After a period of standalone use, I put it inside the Omada platform with the hardware controller OC200 that I bought, along with a TL-SG2210P switch, the TL-R605 firewall/router, and another EAP245. Although it lost some of the more advanced capabilities and direct management, it gained the major advantages of the platform for centralized management (locally and/or via the cloud) of the network and many security, traffic, and usage management capabilities, as well as monitoring statistics, traffic, events, alerts, etc.
Look to see if it is a reliable, nice, and easy menu for settings, etc.
But as a price, I generally consider it expensive. And generally anything in its category.
I have been using it for about three months as a WAP and it is an excellent machine. Stable, with great customization if one uses the Controller and with great range. It is definitely worth its money and because it is a business series product with a lifetime warranty.

It doesn't have a good signal! barely for one room! The good thing is that it can handle some clients.
