  I bought these specific shoes and after half a day of wearing them, I took them to the cobbler to fix an incredible manufacturing flaw. The back plastic heel strap leaves a rigid step inside the shoe, resulting in it hitting my foot from the first few steps. Coming from the Salomon Helios, which were top-notch (the company no longer makes them), I was disappointed with this purchase. I also wonder about some people who found them comfortable; personally, these shoes hit me like army boots.

  Excellent construction quality, very durable shoe, and very hard materials. It seems to be much more resistant than the Columbia ones I have bought for hiking. They are fully waterproof and very comfortable. The size is a little smaller than it should be, in Columbia I wear 47 and in CMP I wear 48.

  After two years of daily use on trails, they gave up. They were my first hiking shoes and I believe they were worth the money and more. So the second pair will also be CMP. I don't give them 5 stars because the first signs of wear started early, and sometimes they weren't so stable in slippery areas. Maybe more well-known brands (and more expensive models) don't have such problems.

  It is a hard shoe, if you don't want it for soft ground (slightly muddy/snowy trails) you may need to change the insole. It is waterproof, but because it is not goretex, the foot does not breathe well and it is quite warm, not suitable for summer. However, they are very durable shoes.

  It's like an all-terrain shoe.
  Definitely not for running, of course, but it will leave you satisfied when walking, on any type of terrain.
  Unfortunately, your feet sweat, which shows that they don't ventilate much (even after a ride on a motorcycle where you expect them to ventilate due to increased speed).
  The sole grips onto rocks and is beautiful and comfortable for driving a motorcycle in the city. It even has padding in the gear shift area that is as hard as needed for changing gears without wearing out the shoe (time will tell how long it lasts).
  The inside has a soft lining on the sole, making it comfortable and designed in a way that the ankle doesn't wobble left or right. It is stable.
  However, the sole cannot be removed to be washed!
  (Fortunately, I know the trick where you sprinkle baking soda on it at night and shake it off in the morning to clean it, and it's like new).
  Certainly, it cannot be your everyday shoe, as it cannot compare to the comfort that a sports shoe offers. But even after wearing it at home for a couple of hours, it loosened up a bit and became more comfortable, and with long-term use, it will become even more comfortable.
  I wear a size 44 in sports shoes, and it is true to size.
  The tongue slightly pressed against the gear shift area and bothered me, but that depends on how tight you tie your laces.
  I loosened the front part and tightened the back slightly, and now everything is fine.
  It makes you want to buy the other equally amazing colors it comes in!

  I have been wearing them daily for about six months now. They are comfortable shoes in general, I have no complaints. They are waterproof to a reasonable extent (I wear them while riding a motorcycle all day, so they have been exposed to rain), typical low-cut outdoor shoe design. The only objection is that early on in their use, several of the lace holes tore, so now if I want to tighten the laces all the way, I have to be cautious.

  Update 11/22/18:
  In the end, it was not a very successful purchase. The shoes, in less than a year of use, fell apart. The lace holes tore far beyond the hole, the interior in the heel area wore out, and the tread became flat like slippers. I am changing my rating to two stars as they turned out to be mediocre.
