Description
The CM198-50857 USB 3.0 hard disk docking station offers exceptional transfer speed, allowing the transfer of a 1GB file in just 3 seconds thanks to the USB 3.0 connection. It supports simultaneous reading from two slots and is compatible with 2.5" and 3.5" hard drives, offering plug and play capabilities. With the offline cloning feature at the press of a button, you can copy files from disk A to disk B without needing to connect to a computer (disk B's capacity must be equal to or greater than disk A's). The device is compatible with most operating systems, such as Windows 10/8.1/7/Vista/XP, Linux, and MAC OS.

Reviews
It doesn't work as it should: when my laptops go into Sleep / Stand-by, it disconnects (and it corrupts/unmounts what I have open, e.g., VeraCrypt partition!).
Also, when the laptop goes to sleep, it doesn't put the hard drive to sleep as well, so the disk stays on forever! The disk has to time out from Windows first, and then Windows has to go to sleep for both to be off. However, this can't even be configured! Because the disk might be used by some process, and thus the hard drive stays almost permanently on for no reason! Good, huh? (BTW, this setup is for TV / Home Cinema; when I watch, I want it to turn on only and then turn off later)!
Tested on 2 laptops, same behavior. I have an old equivalent from Inateck (not sold in Greece) that on the same 2 laptops, with the same hard drive, without any other changes, has been working as it should for about 10 years.
I give it only one star because in such a mature technology, and from such a brand name UGreen (shame on them), it is UNACCEPTABLE to have such bugs (of course, others have this bug too, like Axagon).
