Good warm jacket, it's worth it, I made the mistake and got it one size smaller, I have it listed for sale on fb if any of you are interested, size 50 along with back protection bought from gas in Chania, it has a tight fit if you are between 2 sizes take the larger one

Built-in waterproof D-Dry membrane, removable thermal lining, so it's suitable for at least 3 seasons.
I have been buying Dainese for years, the previous one was a similar model (Nico) that lasted 10 years of continuous use. What prompted me to replace it is that the internal waterproof membrane has polymerized, which will inevitably happen at some point with this one too (as happened a few decades ago with another jacket with Goretex).
Compared to the Nico, it has a slimmer fit, so you may need 1 to 2 sizes larger (from 46 Nico I went to 50 Veloce), don't buy it if you don't try it on first.

Simply, the jacket is for protection, so its purpose is not to float inside. At the same time, it is high-waisted, so it will be satisfactory once you sit on the motorcycle. Moreover, it has padding for arms and shoulders, I will also get one for the back next time. It's worth it, just needs getting used to it first
