My main concern before getting the controller was the dpad. The reviews/unboxing videos couldn't give me an opinion, so I decided to try it myself, even though many complained about misinputs. It seems to not have any technical issues, but it requires excessive precision in games like Tekken because each of the 8 directions has a different movement in XYBA. I found myself using the stick in Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter to jump, and occasionally in FighterZ for level 1 and 3 moves. It's much better than Microsoft's for these types of games.
The hori software on the Xbox store is very useful. It has 4 profiles, and I used 3 of them for the mentioned games to remap the buttons (which, by the way, have a very nice clicky sound). The good thing about this controller is that it saves the changes, so you can take it anywhere and the profiles stay. The bumpers are nothing special, but they do their job. I recommend you also watch reviews or, if you have the chance, try it before buying.

Well, personally, I got it because I thought it had switches and a dpad, but no, it doesn't. It only has front buttons and no back buttons. In terms of construction, it has nothing to do with Xbox, Switch, PS4, or 5. Maybe because it doesn't have a battery at all and because it's very lightweight, it gives you the feeling of being fake. Overall, it plays perfectly and flawlessly for 5 hours of use, but it's not something that impressed me
