  I have been the owner of this mouse for 2 years and after changing it, I decided to write a comment about it. Let's start with the appearance, which was the first thing that caught my attention since at that time I didn't pay much attention to the mechanism. It is indeed as impressive as it looks in the photo, and through the Razer application "RAZER SYNAPSE," you can customize it however you want. Now, let's move on to the gaming aspect, which has been convenient for me in many games and FPS games (CS:GO, Call of Duty...) and in other games like (Minecraft, Grand Theft Auto...). The buttons it has are very useful, especially the button on the lower left side (in FPS games, you can set this button to a lower sensitivity to hit the opponent in the head more easily). The buttons behind the scroll wheel are also useful; one button makes the mouse wheel scroll faster, and the other allows you to quickly change sensitivity without needing to open any application. The left click and right click are, for me, a strong point of the mouse because you don't need to apply much pressure (this helps in games with spam clicking), and they don't activate with the slightest touch. In terms of build quality, it is very good (it has taken many hits in range) and is exactly as I received it back then from the box. For new gamers or if you are looking for a value-for-money mouse, I believe this mouse is the best choice.

  -1 star because it is very heavy. I liked the premium feel from the weight but it tires the wrist a bit and for FPS games, it is counterproductive compared to something lighter (+ in terms of ergonomics). However, it has a nice glide on the mousepad.
  -1 star for the noise. The scroll wheel is VERY loud and has an unpleasant tone. The good thing is that it has freescroll which helps A LOT if you are working.
  ALL the other features work well. Good premium feel, good accuracy, many buttons that you can also program which matters a lot to me because you can do 1002 things as they say. It has beautiful lighting and you can synchronize it with wallpaper engine, other applications, etc., and there you have many options. Also, the shape worked perfectly for me. I have medium to large hands and I think if you have very small hands/palms it might be a bit uncomfortable. I would rate it 9/10 for Productivity, 9/10 for casual gaming, and 6/10 for competitive FPS Gaming (due to the weight alone).

  The things that this mouse has to offer for this price are too good to be true. The weight is perfect (for me), the quality is very good aswell. The rgb lighting is also very good and bright.   Previously, I had the Basilisk RZ01-02330100-R3G1 which, after 3-4 years, developed an issue with the left click (switch issue) and I kept having double clicks.

  The 4 stars for the v3 go for the following reasons:

  • I don’t consider it top quality for what it offers. (For the same money - 40 euros - the Basilisk RZ01-02330100-R3G1 wired had better features that are not present in this one).
  • Saving settings/Colors: In case you have an old version of Synapse (3 and below), you need to upgrade to version 4 otherwise it doesn’t save the color settings (it’s also good to update the mouse drivers through the Razer site if they don’t do it automatically).
  • It is comfortable in hand and doesn’t tire.
  • It has nice lighting.

  I have had it for a few months now. It works perfectly in terms of hardware, I'm not a big fan of Razer's Synapse, but it offers many different settings which I consider a big plus. However, the reason why I give it 3 stars is not the software or the noise of the scroll wheel, but the poor build quality of the DPI clutch. I think it's a big flaw for Razer to sell a mouse for ~40€, whose main selling point is the DPI clutch, and for it to break within the first 3 months without much use. My previous mouse (Razer Basilisk Original) never had the DPI clutch break even after years of heavy use, and also the DPI clutch on the old one was detachable, something that I particularly missed in the new one. In summary, it is excellent in all aspects, but it is embarrassing for Razer to charge 40€ for a mouse and have such problems with the build quality.
