In an HP 2720, I have used 8 black ink cartridges (and 6 color cartridges) in 1000 pages. That is approximately 125 pages per cartridge.
Necessary evil for those who have such printers! Bought for my in-laws to replace their printer! Tremendously small print volume for the money! Compared to the INKTANK I have, it's like day and night! From now on, only inktanks for inkjet printers.
You buy an HP printer that costs 30-50€ and fall into the trap. Last year I spent 180€ on ink. I proceeded to buy another printer (Epson) and escaped this hassle.
