The best hair tie ever. It doesn't dissolve or break from the sun, etc. I found them at the local store for 80 cents, but if you're lazy, get them from here.

Their obvious drawback is that they leave marks, but anyway, this is not a particular problem for towels, sheets, pajamas, underwear, etc.
For the rest, you get some silicone hair ties...
