The Apple leather case feels good in the hand, it doesn't make the phone bulky. The buttons have a very good feel when pressed. The phone has fallen several times onto a hard floor and it protected it without any problems. I should add that the phone also has the Spigen tempered glass on it. It holds the phone tightly and dust/sand doesn't get in like with others I had that needed frequent cleaning. I took it to the beach twice and even though the phone fell in the sand, I didn't see any sand getting inside. At first, I was thinking of getting another case for summer and beaches, but I will stick with this one. I want to see how it holds up during the summer with swimming, a lot of sand, and seawater.

October 2022
After 10 months of intense use (I don't have a second case), high temperatures, sweaty hands, beaches, etc., it remains a very good and quality case. I believe it will last about a year. After that, it may need to be changed.

March 2023
The time for a change has come after about 14 months of use. In the last 2 photos, you can see its condition at the end. And since it held up quite well, I decided to get the same one in Golden Brown.

Conclusion
The case has a very good feel in the hand, comfortable to use, beautiful, but it is very sensitive and if it falls, there is a high chance it will tear.

I found it for 49.90, so OK. If it lasts a year as they say, then OK. But for a branded case, especially Apple, I have expectations.

It creates the most beautiful back on a phone. The brown-shitty-orange is gorgeous. Protection is very good. The issue is durability over time and the infamous patina that the leather develops. I'm thinking of getting the nomad case as well to see the difference.

Update 15/07

It has survived 2 falls, yes it has protected the phone but the case has been destroyed. We're talking falls from a meter, not heavy use. It remains beautiful with a perfect grip but it has been completely ruined.

  In my opinion, there is nothing better for protecting the iPhone. Every year since 2007, when I started buying iPhones, leather cases have been the only way for me. The most important thing is that no dust gets inside the case. Now, if the phone constantly falls, go for something more rugged. Not that anything else, it's just expensive to tear the leather. It is more durable than the silicone one. The silicone will polish the corners over time. Also, the buttons are pressed more easily on the leather than on the silicone. That's it!

  Buy a black leather case for 65 euros. I have had the phone for 13-14 months with a UAG case and it had no damage despite being used roughly as I am a technician. The first day I put on the case, my phone happened to fall out of my pants pocket. Result: The corner of the case was CUT and a piece of leather came off, and the phone also got a mark on the frame. But okay, it's my fault for not buying a case for the case. I'm just crying over my money.

  Initially, I was impressed that it doesn't add bulk to the phone.
  First leather case I get for the iPhone. I really like the material.
  I won't get silicone again because they collect dust and stick to pockets.
  Very expensive as a case and I hope it holds up and doesn't deteriorate like the also expensive silicone ones.
  It has a good grip and doesn't slip.
  I can see myself getting it again if it breaks...

  Update: After a few months, it has faded in many areas. I cleaned it with paper towel sprayed with non-alcoholic disinfectant, so the case has white marks (from the color that has faded).
  I didn't expect it to fade, to be honest... but I like the feel it has in the hand.

  Update one year later+: It hasn't broken or deteriorated like the Apple silicone ones. The grip remains excellent, it has protected the phone in falls. Satisfied and will continue to get genuine leather despite the high cost.
