  After a lot of searching and reading reviews, I decided to buy it. After two or three months and a couple of small drops, one screw came off from the top where the atomizer screws in, causing it to lift up and of course the plastic threads inside broke. I gave it another chance and bought it again, but the exact same thing happened. If you are someone who frequently drops your electronic device, do not buy it!!!

  The mod doesn't seem to have any amazing build quality, and also the battery closure is screw-on. In the previous model I had, the threading broke after a few months of use (it's true that I used it quite harshly). It has a convenient switch on the side that locks the device if you want to put it in your pocket. The wattage alone doesn't lock in a setting, but if you hold down all three buttons for a few seconds, the screen turns off and locks, allowing you to use the cigarette but the screen doesn't turn on nor does the wattage +/-.

  It lasted for a year. Don't let them tell you that it is durable and that they tested it in extreme conditions and nothing happened. Of course, it doesn't have a warranty (only three months from the company). Pico again.

  Those of you who want temperature control, forget about reading the resistance in the marriage of the puppet.. Resistance checked by other mods 0.58 to 0.59 reads it as 0.65 to 0.70, whatever... It's a shame, the previous model played decently... And it's a shame for the people who want to use it for this purpose... Those of you who want it to work with control and lock relatively correctly, go initially to the wattage and once you know from another mod that it is, for example, 0.80 to 0.81... it will read it correctly in wattage, so simply move from wattage to the control menu and lock it...

  After the end of the Tesla WYE 85W, which served me for years, I searched for a small-sized mod with a battery and temperature control for SS316, as my resistances usually come out at around 0.8Ω in RTA rebuildable atomizers for MTL puffs.
  So, I proceeded with the purchase after seeing several reviews. The first impression was the quality and design of it. It is a beautiful device and quite qualitative considering the price. Here the positives end!!!
  From the beginning, issues started with the resistance reading, which is crucial for temperature control. After 6 months of persistence to make it work, I gave up on the attempt. The device reads a different resistance every time you remove the atomizer or change the battery. The result is that it doesn't deliver power if it reads low ohms or it burns the resistance if it reads high ohms. Many times I had to switch it to power mode for it to function.
  If you want temperature control, IT DOESN'T WORK. Look elsewhere.

  Also, the battery cap is very inconvenient. This half ring that lifts up in order to unscrew it doesn't provide a good grip. Especially if you have thick fingers, it doesn't work. It is also very tight, making it very difficult to change the battery. Especially if you are busy or driving... forget it!!!

  First of all, I would like to mention that I already own two Solos and since one of them broke, I decided to get the "improved" version, the S100 or Solo 2.

  The differences I managed to identify are as follows:

  * The S100 is smaller, more compact, and slightly lighter.
  * Atomizers larger than 26mm on the S seem completely ridiculous, my Zenith II (26mm) is already at the limit and anything bigger would protrude.
  * Better color screen with color options (not that I ever had an issue with the Solo's screen).
  * Charging is done with USB-C and it is located on the top (above the screen, there is a silicone cover).

  Apart from that, personally, I didn't notice any difference in terms of vaping, but I vape with 1.6Ohm resistances at 5-7W (50-50 PG/VG, Innokin Zenith and Zenith II), so I don't have any specific requirements.

  The fact that they reduced the "usable" surface area of the atomizer is a downside for me. If someone is not interested in atomizers larger than 24-26mm, then it is a safe choice. Personally, if I had known, I would have preferred the "old" Solo or another mod if I didn't want Geekvape again.
