The smell of catnip drove my cat crazy even before I took it out of the packaging. As soon as he saw it twitching, he got scared and didn't want anything to do with it again. It moves quite vigorously and makes noise, but I think the cat is more defective than the fish.

Bought it for my cat's 4am zoomies. He did like to play with it for a few minutes if placed at the right spot. Very loud noise, so not good for nightime in a small house. Unfortunately the quality is also terrible and lasted only three days. The USB port broke off the board and couldn't charge it again. Didn't have the tools to fix it

As a product, it's fine. Unfortunately, my cats didn't like it, but that's also a matter of each cat's taste!
