The JBL Flip 6 offers better sound quality compared to the Flip 5, with clearer sound and stronger bass thanks to improved drivers. Additionally, the Flip 6 has an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, while the Flip 5 has an IPX7 rating, providing only water resistance. In terms of connectivity, the Flip 6 supports Bluetooth 5.1, offering a more stable connection compared to the Bluetooth 4.2 of the Flip 5. Both speakers provide up to 12 hours of battery life, but the Flip 6 offers better overall performance. Design-wise, the Flip 6 maintains the same compact and portable form as the Flip 5, but with minor upgrades. Overall, the JBL Flip 6 is the best choice for better sound, durability, and connectivity.

It's exactly what I expected after so much research and watching videos (with headphones, to understand its sound quality). Take it with closed eyes if you're looking for good sound in a very convenient size!
Positives:
- Incredible sound for its size, in every frequency. If you listen to music without seeing it, you'll think it comes from a bigger speaker!
- The blue color is very beautiful. I was thinking of getting the black one, but I didn't like that the letters are also black. Also, I saw in photos that it turns purple in the sun, so I was afraid it might fade.
- The buttons have a very good touch, and the sound effects when you open/close it are perfect!
- You can tell its quality just by its weight, and the bass it can play surprised me!
- Great construction and sealing. No matter what you play, you won't hear any creaking or plastic sounds.
- The battery indicator light is useful and smart (it has several LEDs in a row that show the level - it's at the back, right next to the USB-C port).
Negatives:
- The only frequency it can't fully handle (due to its size and specifications) is the very low/deep bass. For example, in bass tests like 'Feel the bass (bass boosted)', which is perfectly reasonable because it's not a speaker system with a subwoofer! Of course, though, you can hear every frequency, all the bass, and the lows, just not like in a system with a sub.
- Pricey! Okay, it's amazing in its abilities, excellent quality, etc., but for 10€ more, I could have gotten the speaker system I have on my computer with 400W peak! (Logitech Z623)
*In the picture, I show the EQ setting that sounds better, cleaner, and louder to me, without annoying treble, and with clear vocals.
It arrived broken..it has a two-year warranty..I sent it back for repair or replacement and they sent it back to me again..it's JBL's fault, it's Drele's fault, I don't know..but they didn't deal with it at all
There are times when even tech freaks simply fall in love with a product even though they know it’s not perfect.
I have had over 20 Bluetooth speakers in my hands and I currently have about 10.
I have more expensive and better ones... (Soundcore Motion+, Anker SoundCore Boost) but in the end, this one (the Flip 6) is the one I take with me because I just like it.
I like its size and design - especially the placement of the buttons as well as the fact that they are prominently raised and you can feel what you’re pressing blindly, without looking at it. In terms of sound, it’s quite decent and it also allows adjustments through the app in its equalizer. It doesn’t need much explanation, it’s not even stereo... to have a stereo image (Left & Right) it tells you to get two and pair them... so one must know beforehand that it’s not meant for the HI FI experience. However, this doesn’t mean that someone can’t enjoy listening to it... that’s why I consider it 5 stars. The battery life is also great.
Regarding sound:
For me, the Soundcore Motion+ is two levels above, both in quality and volume, but it’s significantly bulkier (first of all, it’s truly stereo). If I wanted it for a stationary speaker (even though these speakers are portable), the Motion+ is a more complete product.
Close in sound quality for me is the Sony SRS-XB10 but it doesn’t have the volume to listen, for example, outdoors.
Just a warning! It fell in the shower from a height of about 1 meter and broke from the fall... (I got a second one the same)... Don’t think that because it’s waterproof it can withstand abuse...
If I start with the appearance, it is a gem. Now, regarding the initial setup, the speaker asks for an update when connected to the app, which is very important to do. I don't know how much the serial number matters, but the specific one I bought is (gg). Performance at all sound levels is excellent. In my opinion, if you are considering buying it, I would say it is worth it. It has power and balance, something that doesn't tire your ears. I hope I helped
After 2 other JBLs that I was completely satisfied with, I can say that this one is for the trash. Terrible sound, I couldn't listen to music without getting annoyed. Small details in the sound make it unbearable. Fortunately, I got my money back and bought the Charge 2. Let's see what this one says. I hope JBL's quality returns to my life.
The sound is very loud! I had it playing all day during Easter and it easily lasted 10 hours at maximum volume! It can also work while connected to the charger!
A consistent value from JBL in sound quality and build quality!
After two years of moderate use at medium volume, the battery doesn't last as long as it should, compared to previous portable speakers from the company. Also, a long charging time.
Nice little speaker for wherever you go and quite powerful for its size. At 89 during Black Friday it was an okay price. I don't know if I would have bought it at the original price, to be honest, I find it a bit high
It's good, small, clear bass sound, but in NO case 30 watts.. 30 rms ok.. The xiaomi 16 watts I have plays almost as loud.. I expected it to be louder but ok... For its size, it matters... Also, it charges very quickly!!!
The sound is good, but from the first month I had an issue with its charging. In the fourth month it completely stopped charging. From what I understand, there is a problem with this specific model, so be careful.. Fortunately, they gave me a credit for purchasing another one..
JBL has been producing quality speakers for many years... I own the JBL Go 1, Go 2, Extreme, and the Boombox 1, now in my collection is also the Flip 6!! JBL epic sound!!
It exceeded my expectations. The sound quality is incredible, with deep bass and crystal-clear highs, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. The battery life is impressive, lasting for hours. it's super easy to connect via Bluetooth. Highly recommend it for anyone in need of a reliable, high-quality portable speaker!
great sound and nice bass for such a small speaker, but the battery totally sucks ☠️
doesn’t hold battery for more than 4 hours and it’s not on maximum volume ☹️
Amazing speaker! It does exactly what it promises. Powerful sound, very decent bass, super easy connectivity. The battery is highly satisfactory and lasts according to its specifications. Of course, depending on the volume and other functions you use. Also very positive is its waterproof construction, especially now in the summer when you can take it to the beach.
Anyone who has problems with the speaker's battery, cannot connect to the app, or feels that the sound is not as expected should try this. Press and hold the volume up button and the pause button for 10 seconds [all the lights will turn on]. Essentially, this way you reset the speaker to factory settings and it may solve any problem you have. This only applies to JBL Xtreme 3, JBL Flip 6, JBL Charge 5, JBL Boombox 3 [I don't know if it applies to older JBL models. Oh, and also Latin. If you want to connect 2 speakers from different brands, e.g., JBL with Sony or for example JBL with PartyBoost with a JBL that doesn't have it, then you can only do it through a Samsung mobile. Connect the 2 speakers via Bluetooth, then press multimedia output and select both speakers. After that, you are ready. I repeat, this only applies to Samsung phones that have the dual audio feature.
Very good speaker for the beach, you don't need anything more than this, it plays very clearly and loudly, as for the duration, it's unbelievable, it easily lasts all day!
Tremendous purchase, former owner of the go 3. Out of the box, it has very good sound, but it would be good to download the app and do the latest update as it makes a huge difference in bass management and intensity. Battery lasts for a whopping 15 hours continuously with 50-70% volume, which is more than enough.
Excellent speaker, the best in its category! Better than Bose Flex and JBL Flip 5 as it has much cleaner mid and high frequencies. Prefer models with serial number GG because they have a larger speaker magnet and higher quality construction. Avoid models with serial number TT, TL & CS
3 Stars as the battery does not hold up as promised, and this is because Jbl follows a different Bluetooth protocol resulting in the speakers not working together. I also own the Jbl Essential which I think is better.
Sturdy construction, satisfactory bass, crystal clear sound, BUT: battery joke. compared to the 5 at least which I also have and now the 6 is used entirely for a balancer. If you don't want to run to the outlet every now and then, prefer the 5, their differences in sound quality are minimal to negligible.
By far one of the best purchases I have made in terms of sound. The speaker has powerful volume with clear sound and satisfactory bass, quality construction (I would recommend a carrying case) I can't find anything negative about what it offers in its category.
The battery lasts for 2 and a half hours at full volume, it's not worth it and we're talking about a new one, what should I do? The other + were sent to the service to see... with telephone communication service, there is no solution, what's happening? You have to wait for 15 days. Finally, their answer is if you play a song without almost any lyrics and it lasts for 5 hours, it's okay. I was deceived by the positive reviews about the service and the good quality of the JBL. It's a flop. If you want music for 2 and a half hours with quality and the same amount of charging time, get the Marsall! For me, it doesn't work... let's go for Marsall
I would give it 5 stars, but unfortunately JBL has not yet managed to play at full volume on several of its models. It is excellent until the first red sign of Bluetooth. But the quality, clarity, and volume of sound (up to that point) are impeccable
Amazing speaker with awesome sound and deep bass. JBL warranty. I got it for 99€. I believe that up to this price it is simply perfect. Anything more is an exaggeration because then you pay for the name. Otherwise, it is super in everything and a key element is its battery that lasts 4-5 hours at 80-90% volume and is very good.
Very powerful sound. You are amazed because the speaker is small. Bass is unrealistically strong and clear. So satisfied that I forget it is monophonic
The speaker is excellent for its intended use.
Nice sound, very good bass, and good battery life. I haven't tested the waterproofing to have an opinion (although with other similar JBL products I had, I didn't have a problem).
A small objection regarding the price: the product has been priced between €85 - €150 at times (referring to the same version/series). I find it a top choice at around €100. Anything above that...
