The S4Pro head is inherently adjusted in 1 step compensation. By pressing a button on the side of the head, an additional step is added to a total of 2 steps. Next to this button, there is a release switch that returns you to step 1. There is no zero adjustment. The head has a fixed resistance for panoramic and tilt movements and has independent locks for panoramic and tilt movements. The tilt range is +90/-75° and the panoramic rotation range is a full 360°.

Some parts of the head are made of magnesium and other parts are made of aluminum. Almost the entire head, including its buttons, is made of sturdy yet lightweight metal. A pan bar is included that can be attached to a rosette adapter on the left or right side of the head, for left-handed or right-handed users. A camera plate is included that can be adjusted forward/backward, so you can find the optimal balance for your camera. A safety lock on the plate ensures that once it is placed, the plate will not slip if you move it too much in any direction. Two camera screws are provided - 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 - which can be stored under the camera plate in the head itself, in special slots. For accessory attachment, there is a 1/4"-20 threaded hole on each side of the head, where you can secure articulated arms.
