Product purchased directly from China two years ago and a few months. I am writing this comment to warn interested consumers who will be interested due to the good price, either for professional use like me, as a Civil Engineer dealing with the field of energy saving in buildings, or as hobbyists. In the two years, with sparse and very careful use, there was a permanent alteration of the display at one point. Communication with the well-known Chinese e-shop was absolutely fruitless and led to a so-called update that completely blocked the use and then to their statement that it was no longer under warranty, but the most important thing is that every communication, even with a repair fee, with the main company was impossible as if it were a ghost company with a presence in Europe. Absolutely no interest and response from their side in multiple detailed emails. So be careful not to "cry" your money.
Compared to more expensive products that we see online, the image quality has nothing to envy. In fact, it may even be better than older, much more expensive models. The packaging and accessories are also of good quality, and it includes a memory card for screenshots. Its texture is rubbery and it seems that it does NOT have the known coating that some products have, which starts to deteriorate after a few years. The resolution is sufficient to examine an electronic circuit board, but in combination with the Uni-T UT-Z002 macro lens, which is sold separately, even small SMD components are clearly visible. I believe it is worth investing in this purchase compared to cheaper ones with lower resolution, as currently it is the only one at this price with a sensor resolution of 256×192. The attached images are indicative of the quality exactly as they are stored by the camera on the memory card (without using the macro lens).
Very good thermal camera for amateur use, the best for professional use as well, I would say it is a medium-range category. I would highly recommend it
