If someone is not skilled with a screwdriver and a little light carpentry, I think they will struggle. The construction seems okay. The general problem with these is the abrupt opening/closing of the cabinet while the trash can is full of heavy garbage.

I will replace an identical one that we kept for 20 YEARS!!!! And it served us well all these years, but it got old and needed a change as it suffered after so many years of use. It's worth every penny, even the last euro!!! And it's also cheap, only 11€!!!!
