Well, after 2 years of enjoyment, it’s finally my turn to write my review. I bought these headphones two years ago during Easter for the price of €50 mainly for music and a bit of gaming. I wore them for the first time and was shocked! I was blown away by the sound quality and the ANC is at an almost extreme level, it reduces everything. I had no issues with the battery; it lasts quite a while and serves me well. Regarding the sound, since I’ve heard quite a few people say there’s no bass, you need to download an app that isn’t from Xiaomi, or at least that’s what I believe, which has all the functions of the headphones. Yes, my phone (Redmi Note 11S) has pre-installed software, but this app gives you access to the hidden EQ of the headphones where you can choose according to your preferences. I set it to bass boost and suddenly the bass doubled. The app is called My Buds M8. Also, the sound is a bit low, but it’s okay, it’s fine. After a few months of use, unfortunately, one of the earbuds broke and played half or less sound than the other. I took them to Xiaomi at River West and within the warranty, of course, I got a replacement. I have the new ones until now; for some reason, I feel that when I turn on the ANC, the sound gets a bit worse, but not too much. I really enjoyed these specific headphones; they were convenient for me everywhere. Final conclusion? 100% VFM, but they require a lot of care because they break very easily. Right now, I’m giving them to my buddy to enjoy as I upgrade to the Redmi Buds 6 Pro. Xiaomi, what can I say, I was truly impressed.

Their sound is indeed very good for the price, as well as the isolation from external noise.
On the other hand, the material of both the case and the headphones is of low quality and they slip from my hand very easily. The commands with the taps work poorly, 6 out of 10 times instead of the next song it understands stop. Also, a major disadvantage is that to control the volume you have to take your phone in hand again.
Nothing. I have purchased this product at least 10 times. All 10 times it has been defective. I used it for a maximum of 2 hours every day through the helmet for music, and within a month all 10 broke. I don't know what went wrong, but I definitely won't buy it again

I have had them for a year with daily use, and in terms of sound and isolation, they are very good for 35 euros. Of course, at this moment, they have broken down for me; they don't sound good with interference and low volume, and occasionally they freeze. I didn't notice how much they cost now, I had bought them for around 60 euros, I've had them for about three years, they work just fine. The only issue I have is that the left earbud doesn't sound as loud as the right one anymore. And okay, of course, they don't have the same echo as before, maybe a little lower than before, but it doesn't affect anything at all. I mean, you won't notice it unless you get the new ones to compare, like if you put both together. If you turn them up to full, you won't really notice much of a difference. Also, after how long and how many dips, the sound isolation doesn't work very well, but I would buy them again. I'm waiting for them to completely break down, and I will buy the same ones again
I bought them for everyday use, at work and at the gym. The connection with my phones (iPhone SE 2nd gen and then 15 Pro) was very good, except for a few times when they disconnected by themselves. Also, there is no app on iOS so you miss out on noise reduction and transparency (you can only activate noise reduction with a long touch). For about 2-3 months everything was fine. Then the problems started. The sound decreased significantly and in the end, the right earbud didn't play at all. I would NOT recommend them, either go for something more expensive - quality, or a thousand times with a cable.
They are worth the money. Very good sound, water-resistant, and long battery life. If you don't want something specialized, they are perfect without spending a lot of money. I run every day listening to music and podcasts
Excellent headphones, I have been using them since 2021 when they were released. Wonderful sound and noise-canceling quality, especially for their price back then 55 euros now with 30 it's worth getting 2 not just one..... I had them all the years at university and they didn't suffer any damage inside a bag with groceries, books, and God knows what else, water and they didn't get damaged at all nor did the case, extremely satisfied with these and the best purchase in recent years whether you have Xiaomi or not I don't think there's anything better for their price and sound quality. I highly recommend them
I have had them for 5 months without using them daily. One earbud broke and now the sound from it is much lower. Before this, they hadn't caused me any problems and they looked good.
I have been using them since 2022 almost daily and I haven't seen the slightest problem with the sound quality and the battery. The bass is good and the active noise works perfectly for office conditions. They are vfm.
I have them for 2 years, extremely good for their price, good battery, good active noise canceling. The only issues are 1: sometimes they don't un-pair when you put them in the case and 2: rarely they don't recognize when you have put both earphones to activate the ANC.
+ The adaptation to the ear is very good (they don't fall off at all), the noise cancellation is very satisfactory, real sound and satisfactory volume, satisfactory battery life!

I have had them for about a year, no problems so far.
Purchased for about 40 euros, now priced below 30 they are valuable and definitely better than many others at the same price.

They are not supported by the Xiaomi buds app, but they are supported by the Mi Buds M8 app and provide all relevant options (not needed on a recent Android Xiaomi phone, as the operating system provides them).

Overall, a fair choice.
Very good for their price. The sound quality is similar to buds 3 and buds 3 lite. The ANC is quite decent for a pair of 30 euros. The feeling and fit in the ear, although somewhat annoying at first (compared to buds 3), improved in just one week.
The microphone is average... definitely not good for noisy environments.

In one month, the sound intensity dropped to the point where you can't hear at all unless you are in a place with absolute silence.. Absolute though !!!

They have been in my hands for 2 years, and now it's time to express my opinion.
1. They were and are a GOOD VALUE offering a lot at an affordable price, both then and now.
2. Wired USB C and wireless charging.
3. ANC with profile selection through the app and through the touch buttons.
4. Recognition if you are wearing them or not and accordingly interrupts the flow, imagine that it has this feature too.
5. Multipoint pairing with a separate phone/device per earphone or per pair depending on the scenario.
5a. Tap the phone or put it on one of my two phones and both earphones will connect, it connects to the one with priority in streaming.
5b. You listen to music, watch videos, or talk on a device/phone and use only one earphone. When the second phone/device is activated, and you use/remove the second earphone, it will connect to the second device immediately, automatically, seamlessly.
5. The battery life, without ANC and at half volume, is around 3-5 hours depending on the music. It easily lasts for four hours with genres like Pop, New Wave, and Trip Hop, and it has juice for more (the case charges them and they last longer, but we're talking about the earphones here).
In the span of 2 years, the mentioned time is now around 3 hours, which is still very good.
Regarding the (Possible Cons):
1. They don't have a strong volume, Xiaomi/Mi has released similar ones with acoustics orientation, and YES, one of the earphones has a slight decrease in volume, not too much, but still.
2. There is no official app for Android, but there is a guy that we, the old ones from the ancient Xiaomi forum, know. Back when everything was based on AOSP and Cyanogen, he created an amazing app that even Xiaomi would envy, and it does everything (don't criticize him on the Play Store, he's not lacking in anything, the guy is amazing).
If I recommend them, definitely, they are definitely worth their money for everything they offer.
If you don't want strong music or gaming with low latency, but just earphones to do your job for a wide range of activities, you will be satisfied.
As I mentioned above, Xiaomi/Mi has now released more focused buds depending on the target audience, so judge and proceed wisely, the cards are open wide on the table...

Speech:
Terrible, they don't hear you if you speak normally, you have to shout a little and even then you can only hear them "deep" and softly.
Sound:
For the first 6 months, the sound was good for my taste, but then it noticeably declined. They maintained this sound quality until now.
Battery:
The battery never lasted the 6 hours that it claims, even from the first use after purchase. It lasted 4 hours + 8 with two charges from the case, totaling 12 hours for the first semester. In the second semester, the battery life started to decrease, and after a year (going into the second year) from December that just passed, meaning for the past 5 months, they barely last 2 hours. For some reason, the left one drains faster and only lasts for 30 minutes.
Connectivity:
Quite strange, I would say. Sometimes when I open them, it prompts me to pair again. Sometimes they connect, sometimes I have to put them in and take them out of the case again, and sometimes they connect normally. In the last 2 months, the left one stopped connecting. When I put it in to charge, it showed a dash indicating that it is closed, instead of showing the lightning bolt... As a result, I would take both out and notice that music was playing from one of them. I would put them back in the case, take them out again, and they would work. Then it started needing a little twist left and right to work. Then it took hours... then the whole night, and magically fixed itself in the morning.

Conclusion, if you want them for a maximum of 6 months, maybe a year, go for it. If you want them to last longer, they don't do the job. With the 50€ that I bought them for, there are much better options available

For a redmi mobile phone, it's great, for their money (I got them for 34€) everything is perfect, you just need to go into the settings and adjust the volume, movements, etc. to suit you.
For PC, NO. They often lose connection when you take them out of your ear (probably some internal software that wants to recognize when you take them out of your ears to save battery). The worst part is that you can't disable this automatic function from anywhere because there are no corresponding settings on the computer or any platform. So it's just extremely annoying.
I haven't seen any other problems.

I have them for less than a year and one of them stopped working. I use them 1-2 times a week. I can't find the receipt but they were only 30-40 euros
I had the headphones for 3 months. One earphone stopped producing sound and the other couldn't connect after 3 months. For the time they lasted, they were very mediocre. I don't prefer them at all.
I regret the 70 euros I spent on them from a well-known store... They are not good for listening to music at all.... for calls, they are a complete disappointment, you have to shout and repeat yourself constantly, and if you manage to communicate..

Unfortunately, after 2-3 months the sound decreased and even though I sent it to the company, they considered that it had no problem. At first it was perfect!!!! After about 5 months, one earphone stopped working. I am a person who takes very good care of my things and they never deteriorate from misuse. It's a shame because they didn't hold up or withstand the test of time
The sound intensity dropped in one earphone in less than a month and after a few days it dropped in the second earphone as well.. I really feel like I threw my money away literally.. I can't understand what went wrong.. shame
