Description
The Electrolux cooker features ceramic hobs that have a smooth and glassy surface which turns red when heated. The advantage of ceramic hobs is that they heat up very quickly and are easier to clean than enamel (classic) ones, but their cleaning requires caution as they can be scratched relatively easily and need a special detergent. It has an oven with a capacity of 73 liters, which is a satisfactory size for an average family.

In 22 months of use, the middle glass of the door broke while the oven was baking, without breaking the outer or inner glass, with the shards scattering all over the kitchen. The company caused me trouble for over a month without sending a technician to see the damage up close, demanding that I pay 40 euros for a technician to come and look at it and another 75 to replace it, while it was still under the factory warranty. Both the company's employees and the manager of the technical department treated me in an unacceptable manner, saying that I was making technical suggestions. Initially, they stated, "we do not replace glass," so arbitrarily, then they referred me to the warranty terms, and in the end, they dared to say that the glass breaking was caused by force majeure (flood, fire, etc.) which of course never happened. All of this was done over the phone, without anyone coming to see the damage. I had to make over 10 calls to the company, to the reseller, and even reach out to the consumer advocate to report this unacceptable treatment in order to have a glass of negligible value replaced for free more than a month later in less than 10 minutes. Shameful

Did you find this review helpful?Quite good as a kitchen with plenty of cooking programs. Good quality construction and quite good in terms of ergonomics and functionality. I do not agree with the ventilation duct that is in front of the oven door, which is low down, because the steam clouds and dirties the glass door of the oven, and also because of the heat, it is not easy to grab the handle and buttons. But even with the ventilation duct at the back, which is only in one spot and small, it tends to get clogged after a lot of use. Another disadvantage is that the second glass of the oven is removed a bit difficultly in order to be able to clean it. Anyway, the "eyes" get quite hot quickly and the oven bakes fast but not evenly.
