Without a cable, the other 3 printers from other companies came to the office, so I had done my research. 4000 pages in 3 months and the ink cartridges still haven't run out. Once it gave me an error when I put the paper in crooked. Yes, it's slow when printing color, but in black it's a normal speed printer. Anyway, we're talking about a printer that costs 150€, not 300€. In its category, it's value for money. I don't have huge demands from it, and so far it hasn't let me down.
Attention, to the terms "printer" and "multifunction device." The Epson L1210 is a printer. Not a multifunction device! It does not have a scanning "glass" on top! It does not scan!! The Epson L1210 is desperately slow. It stops, then starts again. It makes noises. Even if you are not concerned about speed, it drives you crazy. I gave it 21 numbered pages to print. It produced 3 consecutive errors and printed them in 4 batches. Of course, with each error, I had to give a new print command with the remaining pages, in each case. And again from the beginning. It took about 20 minutes for this print job. It repeats this very often. Average build quality. Of course, very economical on inks, due to the tank, but also a price of 150 euros!! I have been a user of Epson printers-multifunction devices for 15 years. I changed 4. The first one cost 44 euros and came with 4 free inks, meaning essentially zero purchase cost, was the best case. Multifunction device. It also had a slot for micro-SD cards, which modern devices do not have. In general, I see a significant decline in quality at Epson.
I have it for almost 3 years, for office use it's fine if you don't need prints that will last for years as the ink always runs the risk of getting wet or altered by humidity. It's slow, no comparison to the nominal values, but if you don't have high demands, it's acceptable. Its spare parts are economical, but now that the time has come for me to need an ink pad, Epson doesn't sell it anymore, you have to send it to them to replace it (good)!!!!
Is it possible to buy a machine worth 160 euros and not have it come with all the necessary accessories to connect it? Is it possible that I can't do my job because I have to go and find and buy the specific USB cable that this company accepts, even though it's only worth 3 euros? How is it possible to spend so much money and not have it come with all its accessories... this is a rip-off
For household use, it is excellent and very economical. I got it for a middle school student and I think he will be able to use it even after school. The innovation of the separate ink cartridge is unbeatable
We have been using it in a professional environment for at least 2500 prints per month for about 1 year now, and it hasn't had any issues yet. It has incredibly cost-effective consumables (ink), but like all inkjet printers, if you have a lot to print, it requires a little patience (or take a smoke break ;P)
It has a big problem with paper feeding. Although it claims to be able to print up to 300g paper, the feeder doesn't take it. The printer doesn't understand it and starts printing without having the paper, making everything messy with ink. Unfortunately, its quality is for a printer below 30€.
