For the money, it's very good compared to the keyboards from MOTOSPEED and RAZER that I had in the past; I prefer it and it also has durability against impacts (anyone who plays LOL will understand me)
Transitioning for the first time to mechanical after a mem-chanical Cooler Master Masterkeys, that is, a membrane with a mechanical feel.
I've had it for about 20 days and it's a very good vfm keyboard (purchase price 39 euros)!
Let me write a few things that have already been said and some details that are not mentioned and interested me:
+ The keys have a nice mechanical feel with linear red switches, the quietest of the main categories, and that's why I chose it. They sound slightly more than the previous one I had, but at a normal level.
+ Its lighting is nice with several functions for alternating or static colors, while the side lighting can be set to static or rainbow options. You can adjust each key separately with a static color, and the instructions are easy, and I've tried all combinations with shortcuts without downloading any software.
+ It seems to have quality construction, the response is immediate, and it comes with extras like a tool to pull the keys and a wrist rest. These as accessories cost almost half the price of the keyboard, so it's a worthwhile bonus. I've removed the wrist rest for now because it didn't suit me, but I might try it again.
+ It has 4 multimedia keys on the top right for volume increase, decrease, mute, and calculator, which are very convenient.
+ - The font on the keys doesn't excite me, it breaks the circles like 0.8 in the middle, but okay, you get used to it. Neutral comment, some may like it. Another thing is that it is quite compact, all the keys as well as the row with the F keys are close to each other.
- Pressing some keys makes a small metallic sound, like an echo if you clink pots and pans. It's a bit annoying, but it mainly sounds in silence.
I considered trying Zeroground first as I was looking at the big names, but I'm satisfied with the choice. It just needs to prove its durability over time.
5/5 because for €40 the keyboard is very high quality and sturdy. The feel of the keys is a bit subjective, but for me, the linear reds are very nice and quiet. It also has a wrist rest, the cable is braided, and it comes with a tool to remove the keys. Well done!
Attention, the cable is NOT detachable. I sent an email to Zeroground to ask them if the cable can be removed in any special way, in case it needs replacement in the future, but I never got a response.
So far it looks good, nice feel and the software allows you to change the functionality of the keys.
The static lighting is strong and its intensity can be adjusted, but the rest of the profiles are limited, there is no option to adjust each key separately.
It also has six extra lights on the left and another six on the right on the sides, which unfortunately you cannot adjust and they constantly flicker like a rainbow wave, which is annoying at night.
As a gamer, I have changed many keyboards and tried several brands. Coming from the Satomi of the same company, I decided to go for a newer model of theirs. Unfortunately, I was not satisfied like with their predecessor. With each key press, there is a loud metallic sound that becomes gradually more annoying and louder over time. In the 4th month, the R key started to stick occasionally and I lost my trust, deciding to go for another keyboard. Maybe I was unlucky, maybe this particular one had an issue. It definitely did not have the same quality as the Satomi, though
This keyboard costs 40 euros and has the quality of a keyboard worth 150 euros+. All switches and stabilizers are lubed. The best keyboard you can generally find on the market
Like the rest of the comments, I am also a first-time mechanical keyboard user. I have to say that the Greek company zeroground has amazing quality. The keys are outemu red (linear), which means they don't make any noise, they don't annoy you, and the response is immediate, which is important for competitive games (COD, R6, CS, LOL, Apex, Battlefield, etc.). And with this price, it's worth it.
First purchase of a mechanical keyboard, I had to change it because the previous one, which was membrane, broke. This specific model is very beautiful and I find the arm rest pad incredibly convenient, as it is like a leather cushion and detachable! I like the feel of the keys, they are not particularly noisy, which I personally prefer. The design reminds me of the Razer Ornata V2 keyboard, which is not mechanical because it has a membrane, but I still liked it a lot. However, due to the price and the fact that it is not purely mechanical, I didn't choose it. So, what I got from Zeroground for its price, I am very satisfied with so far! I give it 4 stars because it is still too early to say anything else. I haven't had any issues so far. Will update!
I temporarily got it until they replace it with a keyboard of a different brand (four times the price) that the LED on one key broke. I've had it for a month and overall it's good!
The keycaps are the usual medium-quality ABS. I replaced them with PBT and the sound (and the visual result) is much better. Solid for its price.
It freezes when idle for more than 1-2 hours and I have to unplug it from the USB and plug it back in. It recovers immediately but it's annoying. However, for its price, it's very good. I didn't expect it...
(Purchased for 60€) Just received the keyboard, and I have a few immediate comments.
Coming from a membrane keyboard, the keys have a very nice (quiet) sound and feel.
The lighting is excellent, with many functions and fully programmable (via software that needs to be downloaded), with each key able to be any color you want and the ability to save up to three profiles. It also has side lighting, but it is more limited (only has functions for rainbow and static colors).
The included Wrist Rest does NOT attach to the keyboard, it is made of leather and is good. It has plastic feet and does not move at all.
The keyboard is sturdy, quite heavy, the cable is braided and there are "holes" underneath to route it either from the sides (left or right) or from the center.
These are the comments for now, if anything comes up I will mention it here (I'm giving it 4 stars due to limited experience, but if it proves to be good, I will change it to 5).
1-month update: The keyboard remains as excellent as it was in the beginning. I really don't see any difference and no key has broken. Just a little caution: the keys are quite sensitive. Not to the point where you can't rest your fingers on them, but a little more than that and they get pressed, something I have practically gotten used to.
~3-month update: Everything remains the same.
~10-month update: The keyboard has remained excellent. The slight anxiety I had about a key breaking (like with Motospeed, etc.) seems, fortunately, to be unfounded. I think it ultimately deserves the 5th star, an excellent purchase! Now, if any issues arise, I will update.
2+ years update: Still excellent, the keyboard has not had a single serious issue. Occasionally, the "+/=" key gets stuck, but even that is rare. Also, the wrist rest has worn out a bit where my left wrist rests. Despite this, the keyboard remains superb to this day and has truly made me happy. I hope I didn't just get lucky with a good piece because it truly is exceptional.
