The TP-Link TL-SG1210MP is an unmanaged switch with 9× gigabit RJ45 ports and 1× gigabit combo SFP/RJ45 port that requires no configuration.
It features 8 PoE (Power over Ethernet) ports, which automatically detect and power all compatible devices with the IEEE 802.3af/at standard. Electrical power is transmitted along with data over a single cable, allowing you to extend your network to areas without power cables or outlets.
Compliance with the 802.3af/at PoE+ standard supports up to 30 W on each PoE port, with a total power budget of 123 W PoE for the 8 PoE+ ports. This opens up a wide range of applications, such as surveillance in offices and small businesses.
With the extension mode, the PoE transmission distance reaches up to 250 m, ideal for installing IP cameras in large areas. The isolation mode divides the traffic for ports 1-4 or 5-8, avoiding eavesdropping/interference.
The switch automatically detects and restarts PD devices when they go offline, ensuring their stable operation without manual monitoring.
The internal components of the TL-SG1210MP are protected by a high-quality metal casing, with a fanless design that provides zero additional noise.
When the total power consumption exceeds 123 W, the intelligent power management will reduce the power of the lower-priority port, protecting the device from power overload.
