The sea washed him up unconscious on a beach in Nafplio after a local storm. At the hospital, it was determined that he was suffering from amnesia. Once he recovered from his injuries, he found a job and a home, and became romantically involved with a teacher. But he had not regained his memory; he did not even remember his own name.

One day, a stranger knocked on his door. He couldn't see what she looked like - her age, her height, her clothing; because as soon as he looked into her eyes, he felt lost. They were dark blue like the open sea, and as he stared at them transfixed, an unbearable nostalgia flooded his soul...
