  Very powerful siren. Even if a cat passes by, it hits. I have had it for three years. It hasn't caused me any problems. If you find a way to prevent the aspiring thief from reaching it, it's great. Perhaps the only downside is that it doesn't work in areas with excessive humidity because the battery's springs rust. But if you maintain it like I do, then it's okay. It's value for money.
