    The pot is made of cast iron and has an enamel coating on the inside. Its capacity is 4 liters. It can hold 5 for use as a casserole up to the top of the rim, so we stay at 4 liters as a pot. As for the cast iron, I must say that it is heavy, but I have only seen such a "caramelization" in these pots. I use it first as a pot and finish almost everything in the oven as a casserole. It can be washed and cleaned with soap and a soft sponge and does not require any maintenance due to the enamel coating. Good purchase, I would buy it again but in a larger capacity.
