End of an era for Nokia
Silently, the parent company is stopping the production of their existing models in the market for only 4 years until the next updates.
T r a g I c
It has Android One which has a different menu from the classic Android, for no reason. This results in constantly searching to be able to operate your phone, often getting stuck in a menu without being able to figure it out.
Inability to connect to various Bluetooth devices.
A decent phone, withstands rough use, etc.... The drawbacks would be the weight and the on/off button, which is a bit sensitive and if you hold the phone horizontally, you might accidentally press it sometimes. Also, the camera result is not crystal clear but it does its job decently!
I have had the phone for 5 months and overall I am quite satisfied with this choice, as all the phones I had before were from the same company and I can compare them.
I chose the xr20 for its durable construction, but the truth is that it definitely needs a case and a screen protector or a tempered glass for protection against scratches.
What pleasantly surprised me is the quality of the photos and videos it takes, as it can truly be compared to iPhone cameras.
The battery life and app opening speeds are very satisfactory.
The only negative aspect might be the fingerprint sensor, which sometimes gets stuck if you press it several times by mistake, causing the screen to open and close, and it takes a few seconds to start functioning properly.
Overall, the quality of the phone in relation to its price is definitely excellent. I highly recommend it for someone who wants to try something different from Nokia.
I chose this particular mobile phone, two months ago, for the extra protection provided by its design, as my work requires the use of my phone in situations that expose it to great risk. As far as protection is concerned, I am completely satisfied as the phone seems to be fully protected from natural elements and accidents, such as falls.
However, when my phone recently fell from waist height and hit the top side, the plastic grille of the earpiece compressed in certain areas and some holes almost got blocked. The elastic case, which is intended to protect the phone, got scratched too easily in my opinion. And finally, what I feared before buying it was confirmed, as the more resistant the glass, the more flexible it is, but also the easier it can get scratched. As a result, the screen was filled with these faint blemishes, which do not affect the functionality of the screen, but are aesthetically unpleasant.
The placement of the fingerprint sensor is perhaps the worst possible for left-handed people, as the phone unlocks when I try to put it in my pocket.
A third, very big negative in my opinion, is that the button on the left side is exclusively for the use of Google Assistant and there is no possibility of reprogramming it. So either you will use it to activate something that you can already activate vocally, or you will have a completely useless button.
In conclusion, I would say that for anyone who chooses this phone to use it simultaneously with their work and in their daily outings, it should be purchased with an extra case and screen protection, if you value the appearance of your phone as much as its durability. In this case, you would have a clearly bulky phone, but one that could withstand a fall from 5 floors (which is shown in a video with the phone without extra protection and without it suffering anything beyond blemishes). And at the end of the day, you can always remove the protective case after work.
