Description

Inverter Technology

Thanks to Inverter technology, it maintains a stable temperature and lower consumption compared to simple instant water heaters as it uses only the necessary power to heat the water to the desired temperature.

Compatible with solar or boiler systems

It can be installed in parallel with these, taking the existing lukewarm water and thus achieving even greater economy.

If it will be the only source of hot water, the following apply in every case:

  • More economical in electricity consumption by 30 to 40% compared to non-electronic instant water heaters and 60 to 70% compared to classic water heaters.

Operating Power

The operating power and consumption are controlled by the electronic brain according to the temperature and flow of the incoming water, to select exactly the desired temperature and maintain it constant.

The selected temperature ranges between 30°C and 55°C, is adjusted with touch buttons, and displayed on the screen.

It features a key lock for child safety.

Features

  • Flow switch – activates the device only when there is water flow.
  • Safety thermostat – protection against overheating.
  • Inlet temperature sensor: monitors the temperature of the water entering the device.
  • Outlet temperature sensor: monitors the temperature of the water exiting the device.

Installation

It is central and can be used either as the main option for heating the water in your home or as a supplementary one. It can provide hot water throughout the house for your daily needs, as long as there are appropriate pipes for the distribution of hot water. This may potentially result in heat and energy losses due to the distance.

What is an instant water heater?

The instant water heater is a type of water heater that heats water in real-time. It only heats the water that passes through it at that moment. This means there is no hot water storage tank. This has many advantages, such as energy savings, since only the water that is used is heated, and longer lifespan, since there is no water tank and no accumulation of salts on the resistance and other components.

It operates with electricity and is single-phase.

How It Works

The instant water heater has a cold water inlet pipe, which passes through the resistance, heats up, and exits through the hot water outlet pipe. A necessary condition for the instant water heater to initially operate is that the pressure of the incoming cold water is not too low.

The water temperature is regulated by a thermostat, so it does not exceed a maximum value. The temperatures that the hot water reaches are pre-set so that one can use the hot water directly, without needing to mix it with cold water.

The maximum temperature that can be reached for hot water production is 55 °C, while the maximum water flow rate reaches up to 8 liters per minute. Indicatively, 38-42 °C degrees are standard for shower use.

Advantages of instant water heaters compared to traditional electric water heaters

  • It is small in size and doesn't take up much space.
  • There are no energy losses, as only the water being used is heated at that moment. Therefore, we save on the electricity bill. In a traditional water heater, the hot water that is not used is wasted.
  • The hot water used in the instant water heater is used as is, without mixing with cold, as happens in a traditional water heater. Thus, we save water as well as electricity.
  • There is no need to wait for the water to heat up. As soon as we turn on the tap, hot water runs in a few seconds. A traditional water heater takes a few minutes, depending on its size.
  • The hot water never runs out. As long as we have the tap open, we will have hot water.
