I bought it for 2 rods but it barely lifts one! Someone in a comment wrote that with one tank you can rod 20 trees and I tell you 7 at most! And the most important thing, the packaging was OK but the machine inside was damaged..... Of course, I regret buying it! ?
I bought it from a store in my area for 185 euros. I think the price is not that today. The specific seller was offering it for that, as were some others, because he had brought it to the store from earlier. Probably for that reason, the rubber at the base of the carburetor had dried out and was leaking gasoline, but they quickly changed it (the rubber) and everything was fine. It is quite small in size, starts quickly, as long as you open the choke, especially if it's cold. Just don't let the fuel run out and the carburetor dry out, then you'll have to pull the starter several times to get it going. The noise it makes is tolerable, considering you'll be hearing it for a while. It doesn't sound like the four-stroke suitcase generators, but neither like a lawnmower. Something in between. Overall, it looks like old technology, but it's a tested machine, which is why it continues to sell. I will return when I try it in practice...
After I tried it in practice for about 3 days, I have to say that this machine is for amateur use. Not that it can't handle one or two olive harvesters, but it has reliability issues... Since I gather the olives myself, I turn it off while spreading and collecting the olive leaves. Although generally it starts quickly, with one or two pulls, there are times when it wouldn't start at all (maybe due to overheating?). When I left it for a little while, it would start again... Once, it even started to have fluctuations in the throttle by itself, causing the revolutions of the harvester to fluctuate; at one point it made a popping sound and then worked normally again... In open space, it is even quieter... Its consumption is moderate, about 0.8 liters per hour... Now we will see how durable it will be over time...
Positive. Lightweight, powerful, outputs 15 volts at the lowest setting which becomes 14.5 under load and 18 volts at maximum RPM, very economical to the point that I was looking to see if it has any hidden batteries. Negative. It doesn't start as easily compared to other two-stroke engines I have worked with that start immediately.
I got it this year. It's not some amazing machine, but for the money I spent, it was just fine. It didn't cause me any problems. I worked it with a stick harvester and it responded very well.
The worst thing I have ever bought, I have used it for 2 weeks in 2 years and it has gone for service 4 times! Incorrect wiring from the factory, the handlebar broke, difficult start, etc..
I used it in a 100 olive tree estate. It worked for about 6 hours a day, consuming 5 liters for 25 trees. Very good, easy start, easy transportation, normal noise level. War dog
I used it with the Yamastik Nifada X12 olive harvester, with 12V DC and small current fluctuations. I can't say it will work with two harvester rods. Easy start, little exhaust gas, easy movement.
