  Well, the box is very good, the construction is sturdy, all made of aluminum, and only the guides for the drawer are plastic. The button on the back is very convenient and it works with any disc I put in without any problem. BUT... the vibrations from the hard drive transfer to the desk as if you have placed it directly on it! I had a bit of anti-vibration foam, 5mm thick, that I had put inside the box for soundproofing, and I added a small piece underneath the base, measuring 4x10cm, with double-sided tape, and the hard drive is as if it has been silenced!

  I bought 2 cases after researching on the internet for this specific one, as I saw that it had good reviews. I put a 2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm in one and a 4TB Western Digital Purple Surveillance in the other. The installation is easy. The USB cable is quite long, as well as the 12V power cable, compared to an older one I had that had a very short cable and also a frustrating power supply with pins. Both drives were instantly recognized on Windows 10 Home without any problems. It is simple in construction but stable in operation. The installation of the drive is done with 2 plastic brackets that slide in internally. If you plan on constantly swapping drives, they might wear out in the future. In this case, you may need to consider something else. In terms of quality-price ratio, it is the best and most honest for its price. Get it with your eyes closed!
