From the second floor, it reaches down easily. I agree with someone who points out the negatives regarding the winding, but I consider them "childish" little problems that you get used to. It will not be convenient for many because the reel is small. The distance of the handle is short and the size of the crank is also small. All of this makes gathering quite difficult. The cable will either come off the reel while gathering or will get caught in your hand at the handle. In an upright position while gathering, the crank will get stuck. The materials are quality and it is a sturdy construction. So, 2 stars for the stinginess in materials. For the 2 missing centimeters in height at the handle and also in the diameter of the reel to do your job without hassle
