At first, I had a hard time deciding between the W820NB and the W800BT Plus as both have many positive, similar reviews. In the end, I bought the W820NB, which are indeed very lightweight and comfortable (something I was looking for due to the nature of my work and I know that on-ear headphones can be very tiring and cause headaches - but this may also vary from person to person), they also isolate external noise very well, but give you the option to adjust it so you can still hear them, and I liked this feature. Additionally, some people wrote that they hear a buzzing sound like a vacuum cleaner, this is due to the ambient sound when it is activated (I have not yet understood what this setting is for) but you can also turn it off and stop hearing it, so it's fine. The build quality is quite good for now, I can't find anything negative. And I connected it quickly with a cable to my laptop and it works fine through the Edifier Connect App on my mobile (personally it works fine on my iPhone). I should add that I like that you can also use them as wired headphones. The Bluetooth range is quite long.
Update 21/12/2022: I got the same ones as a gift for my sister in black and she is very satisfied and happy! She uses them even more than me and hasn't found anything negative.
I read good reviews about them and decided to buy them for training, but in the end they were disappointing for their price. I bought them for €59 and thought they would be good for the money, but they don't have any strong sound or bass at all. I tried changing the settings to see if that was the problem, but nothing. It's a shame for the money, I could have bought something better
Okay, classic case of Edifier, budget, good prices, and average quality. They definitely do a better job with headphones than with speakers, and these specific ones are very convenient and minimal for a white PC build. The microphone doesn't have good sound quality but it's manageable. As for the sound quality of the headphones, it's average to good, the materials they use are of average quality but they have good drivers, so it earns the fifth star there because they further improve the sound. I would like a bit more volume; in terms of sound quality, I would prefer something more high-quality both in construction and more balanced. Here, they color the bass and highs to give you the feeling that you're listening to quality sound, but they deceive you. If you listen to expensive headphones, you'll understand the difference. For gaming, a movie, and simple use, it's a good choice.
I expected something more quality for its price. I have to shout to be heard, and generally the sound is just okay. JBL and Sony in this category are much better!
I have had them for almost a year now, so I have gained quite a comprehensive opinion about them. Let's start with the good, which is their design, the noise cancellation is fantastic although many times it makes some sounds like "bang" when the sound exceeds a certain decibel level. The sound quality is quite good, but as a person who listens to a lot of music, I missed the bass. The functionality and battery health, especially after such a long time, I am very satisfied with. The negative point I would mention is that the sound is low; compared to other headphones, the maximum sound of these headphones was not satisfactory (unless I have gone deaf)
I buy headphones several times since I use them for music, calls, video calls, meetings, etc. I had my eye on these for my girlfriend, so as soon as Black Friday came from Germanos (37.5 euros), I got them immediately. She mainly wanted them to use in outdoor settings since they had Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to listen to music in public transport, etc. Although she just started using them, she claims to be thrilled with them. From my side, I have the following to say:
Positives:
+ Really nice sound. Good bass without being excessive.
+ Instant connection with the mobile phone.
+ Satisfactory ANC without being the best on the market. It does its job and then some.
+ Quite comfortable, without being tight. I believe they will suit people with small ears.
Negatives:
- While their build quality isn't bad, they don't give a premium headphone feel. For example, their headband is plastic. Their buttons are also plastic, although they are stable.
- Their design is nice but not something amazing.
- I think their ear pads will last about 1-1.5 years. After that, we will buy third-party pads that give a more premium feel.
In my opinion, they are mid-range headphones whose sound quality and ANC make them stand out in this price range. Especially at the price we got them, it was definitely an excellent choice.
I bought them based on the good reviews, although I usually don't take them into account because most people are generally inexperienced as consumers and don't have a point of comparison. I'm not pretending to be a music expert or a producer; I just compare them to simple Chinese headphones that cost 20 euros, and we're talking about these being garbage!!!
I will only say that in terms of build quality for the price, they are very good. As for sound isolation, I would say the fit is very good, with not many sounds coming from the external environment. However, in terms of sound quality, they are quite clear and nice without being dull, but the bass is significantly lacking in terms of volume. First of all, I couldn't tell if they are for kids or if I'm deaf; the volume is tragic, to say the least, inadequate to nonexistent for on-ear headphones. I got them on sale at Germanos for 37 euros, but I returned them because they aren't worth even 10 euros with such volume!!
Very honest headphones for about 50 euros that I bought! Very good sound, satisfactory noise cancellation, and long battery life. Absolutely no connectivity issues with laptop, mobile, tablet...
Amazing headphones, you have 2 different noise reduction modes. The battery lasts for many hours, I use them at work and for calls and to listen to music or anything, and they are really very comfortable.
Good sound, I can hear comfortably. I have been using them for hours indoors both wired and wireless for about 2 years. The noise cancellation is sufficient only for continuous noises (e.g., air conditioning). The microphone is okay. The ear pads require GREAT attention. After many months of daily use, they are unraveling at the seams. The same happened with the originals and the replacements I purchased additionally.
The product is working great with a smartphone but not so good with a computer. Most of the functionalities are not working with the computer, only the basic features and the microphone isolation is bad. However the sound is good and the battery is decent. The only drawback for the product is that the functionalities are limited when not being used from the phone
I wanted some budget headphones for the gym, with active noise cancellation. I tried them at the gym with a full crowd and the music loud, and I can say that I was quite satisfied. The quality and bass are definitely not in the category of professional headphones, but that doesn't mean it bothered me particularly. In summary, if you want budget headphones for the gym, travel, etc., that cut out a lot of external noise and allow you to listen to your music comfortably without having it turned up all the way, I think you're in the right place...
In 2 years, the cushion tears for about 4 people, meaning the whole family that I bought it for. It's not that bad, but it's not suitable for gaming like that.
So far the best I have tried for this money, it must be over a year that I have been using them daily for hours and they have absolutely no problems, even the cushions are like new
Good sound, huge battery, and relatively good sound isolation when needed. It also switches to ANC by itself when it detects that the microphone is being used (during calls, that is).
I found it good for the money. At first, when I took them out, I accidentally pressed the buttons on the right ear, but then I got used to taking them out by pulling from the top. Other than that, they stay securely on the head (I jump rope with them). Good sound. Comfortable. Soft for many hours (e.g., 9 hours) but the ear sweats due to the material. Makes sense.
I got the blue one and I will give top marks for its appearance. As a construction, it is extremely durable; I was dragging it around daily for a summer at work and when I clean it with a damp cloth, it looks like it just came out of the box. Its battery lasts so long that you are surprised when you hear the sound for charging because you have forgotten about it. As for "sound insulation," it is satisfactory; you will still hear the annoying ones, but now you can ignore them if you focus on your work. As music headphones, I don't have any particular observations; they are exactly what you would expect without any flaws. I remove one star because I don't see any spare parts available, like the ear cushions, for when they wear out, and additionally, at least I can't find a way to have it connected to two devices simultaneously, like a phone and a laptop.
The headphones are worth the money and have good bass, and even HiFi sound with a wired connection (USB-C). On the other hand, I don't like their User Interface! It's this cheap artificial intelligence voice and the accompanying app is for the ️
A very good vfm choice. I use them for working out and I am satisfied. Huge battery life. Minus one star because they are not foldable to take them on a plane trip like a person
Satisfactory headphones for not too demanding users who pay great attention to detail. The reason I give 5 stars is because they are trouble-free, quality, and at a price that what they offer is vfm (personal opinion). Compared to the Edifier W800BT Plus that I own, they have better lows, but they have worse battery management.
Quite good headphones for their price. Decent noise cancelling. I've had them for almost 2 years.
Negatives: The physical buttons on the headphones have stuck and don't work after a while. Only the power button works, but only to turn them on, not to turn them off. Also, if you forget to turn them off and close your phone, they don't have any energy-saving mode.
Positives: After the first year, the ear pads had worn out. I contacted the distributor in Greece, they sent me replacement ear pads, and I paid around 1-15 euros for shipping through the general postal service
Excellent and clear sound, as well as the bass. Plus, it has very good noise cancellation, so you have no issues in public transport or at the gym, etc. Good battery life and they are lightweight, so they don't tire you easily.
Very good sound, I have never had such an experience with noise reduction, ambient sound, and gamer mode. It just doesn't have very good response for phone calls, and the microphone with my phone doesn't pick up anything but static. (iPhone 11)
Awesome headphones for their price. The sound is amazing, I didn't expect it to be honest. If you want to get headphones around 50-60, here you go, they're great. Now, listen.. if you don't mind spending double the money, around 120-130, and want to have the BEST sound with perfect bass, etc., I recommend the "Soundcore by Anker Space Q45" which I got the same day I got these and the sound is truly unreal. But these headphones are also good for other purposes, I use them in my home studio for example. If you just want to listen to your music casually and you're not obsessed with sound, you just want to have good quality sound, then go for the Edifier, don't think twice
The recipient has been very satisfied with them so far. He does not use them on a daily basis so I don't have much to comment on. If something goes wrong in the near future, I will come back to warn you!
Good choice and value for money! Ideally, it would have a slightly stronger sound and definitely more bass! Especially bass! It holds a lot of battery on continuous music!
The headphones are really good. After 5-6 months of use, they haven't presented any issues and the only negative thing I have noticed is the microphone. They charge very quickly and have an amazing battery life. They are truly worth it.
Very well constructed, the sound is okay for the price, the sound isolation is the same.
The only negative thing I have to say is about the earbuds. After using them at the gym, they started to come off.
