I would like it a little faster. Many times the UI freezes and doesn't let you navigate, either with the cursor or with the "arrows" of the Remote Control on the application icon you want to open. Otherwise, it's very honest for its price, but there are better options in the price range that this one falls into.
Very commendable for its price. The only negative is that it does not support Cosmote TV, but its purchase was not made for this purpose. I do not notice any freezing or issues with either ethernet or even Wi-Fi connection.
Unfortunately, no upgrade can be made either to the operating system or to the Google Play app. I bought it for a 5-year-old TV so that I could watch Disney+. Unfortunately, it does not support it. It was added via USB from apk mirror. When playing Netflix and Disney+, the download is low, which affects the quality of the image and sound. I bought it for 34.74 before the 50% off offer. If you are looking for something economical to just get the job done, it's okay with patience because it doesn't want to be forced. Otherwise, choose something more expensive that accepts upgrades
Depending on his mood, he restarts. He may restart every 5 minutes or play for 2 hours straight without any issue. I sent it for replacement. They informed me that they fixed it. I received it as I sent it, still the same problem
I have it for a while now, but I will dare to make a review. It came with pre-installed apps like Kodi, Google Chrome (it works fine for me, as I saw in the comments that it doesn't work for some people, I didn't have any problems), Netflix (I haven't tried it yet). The picture and sound are satisfactory. Let's move on to the negatives: when you download Ert flix, it is not in the apps, but you have to go to Google Apps to access it. The remote control makes a noise when you press the buttons, so if you have it in a room and someone else wants to sleep, it is annoying. I also tried it with the IP TV app and I am very satisfied. So far, I haven't experienced any freezing or disconnections like I saw in other comments. I will definitely buy a wireless mouse and keyboard for better browsing. As for the quality-price ratio, it is still early to tell. I think it is a bit pricey, BUT if it doesn't freeze or have connection issues, it will definitely be worth it, especially since it supports 4K. I will come back in the future to review it after trying it on Netflix and other platforms. Update January 2023: everything mentioned above still applies. I have been using it for 6 months and something, and it was replaced by a smart TV a few days ago. No freezing or disconnections for me, Chrome works normally, it has many apps to choose from. I haven't tried it on other platforms, now it will go to another TV to become smart. Overall, it is decent, as my friends also said. It doesn't support Cosmote TV, but it doesn't bother me because I didn't want it for that. As other users have said, it doesn't receive new updates. I bought it for 32.89 euros plus 3.30 euros for shipping, now I see that it is 37 euros without shipping, with shipping it's 40 euros. I don't know if I would have bought it at this price because you can find smart TVs at lower prices. It's up to you to decide whether to buy it or not. Update 17/09/2023: everything mentioned above is true, with one correction - it does support Cosmote TV. My TV box broke, the power input was damaged and the TV box wouldn't turn on at all. I didn't go through the process of returning it, I fixed it myself by soldering the power cable onto the board because I saw in another comment that another person had the same issue. Update 2: I'm giving it two stars because it doesn't receive updates, neither software nor from the Play Store. The apps on the Play Store are limited, nothing compared to the variety you get on Android phones, tablets, etc. For me, I wouldn't recommend buying it, spend a little more and get a well-known brand that also produces phones at the same price. Oh, I almost forgot, for those who want to watch Disney Plus, download it from Apk mirror, as another person mentioned below, whom I personally want to thank because they saved me
Wasted money. Cosmote Tv doesn't work because it seems to be rooted. Netflix has a custom version that is in mobile format and it's not convenient to find movies. You can't send videos from your phone to the box. Chrome doesn't work, so you have to use unknown browsers. Many applications are not supported. It doesn't support wifi 5GHz band. It freezes on a streaming service while other devices on the same wifi play the same service normally. Good luck to anyone who gets it.
Kids, for the money it's very good, I've had it for about a week and it hasn't had any issues, and I don't think it will have any issues when I use it for YouTube or any movie or series. The only complaint I have is that every time it opens, you have to adjust it yourself to get the sound from the HDMI, otherwise you can't hear it. When I first connected it, I thought I had a faulty product, but I just have to adjust it myself. Overall, it's very good and the picture and sound quality are great, and for the money, it's a very good solution for those who can't afford to buy a smart TV. I recommend it!
I bought it for 32€ and I am very satisfied. Netflix, YouTube, Chrome... All easily accessible. A wireless mouse and a keyboard will make your life even easier. It's worth making your old TV smart, especially when we're talking about this price. No problem with disconnections and such (keep in mind that it runs with 50mbps).
I have it for a month now and everything is perfect! I don't have a smart TV and this was my alternative. Picture, sound are very good even though I don't have a 4K TV. I have connected it to an LG from a decade ago and it simply became smart! It's worth every penny and more. Easy access to Netflix, YouTube, device mirroring, Chrome, etc. If you download an app like ERTflix, it doesn't appear on the home screen or in the apps, you have to go to the setup and from there to the apps to launch it. I haven't looked into it yet, but I believe someone should fix this. Additionally, apps like WebEx cannot be downloaded or operated from Chrome, but it also requires a little searching. I have also connected a wireless mouse-keyboard and it's amazing!
