Excellent. Connected to the 5ghz on a Fritz box 7530 router and it really flies. Zero speed loss and great range.
The only problem is that it doesn't run on Windows unless you install its drivers from the provided CD. There are no drivers available even though it's connected to the internet where they could be downloaded automatically.
So for those who don't have a CD player on their computer, you will have to find the drivers on your own and put them on a USB stick or find a portable CD drive to run the installation program.
It makes endless disconnections and many times loses its signal while all other devices connect normally. Maybe it's because it's running on Windows 11 instead of 10.
Mediocre product and I was unpleasantly surprised, I will send it back and request a refund or replacement with something else. If possible in 2025, anything related to installation guides should be provided on CD, who uses CDs these days? Personally, I haven't for 15 years. Besides that, you can find whatever you want on the manufacturer's official page, but it proved useless because it doesn't work, since simply put, Windows 11 is not supported. The instructions online are minimal and on YouTube, the only videos are in Turkish. 30€ thrown out the window. Return, don’t bother. Next time, please provide specific information from the stores, since the fact that Windows 11 is not supported is not mentioned anywhere nor can you find it anywhere, so on the other hand, let’s also give credit to the stores, what do they know and how can they understand, it’s the company’s responsibility. Other than that, thank you very much to the store for their quick service and very careful packaging. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out for us and it’s a shame because we were looking forward to it, what can we do, these things happen, I hope that we will find a solution with the store.
Although it seems quality in construction, the disconnections on desktop with the Cosmote router at 5 meters on fiber 100 are continuous, resulting in driving you crazy. On Win10 Pro with the latest driver for this specific antenna from Asus being from 2021, I don't see any improvement. I will look into TP-Link. It's a shame because I had a high regard for Asus. A final update to the drivers wouldn't hurt Asus... 9/1/2025. In the end, I proceeded to purchase a TP-Link AC-1300 because I was fed up! It connected and hasn't disconnected since. It's really a shame for the Asus name
After reading good reviews and due to a bad previous experience, I decided to buy it. Well, it's the worst thing I have ever purchased. The disconnections are constant with the router in the same room. I have a hundred percent connection and when it decides to connect to the network, it only reaches 68
I believe it's worth every penny. The best purchase I have made and it's of high quality. Very good range, imagine being three rooms away and still getting a signal strength of 96 to 100 with a 100 Mbps connection. The only thing left is to see if it disconnects and then reconnects. For now, it deserves 5 stars because it shows great strength.
Excellent, zero disconnections and excellent speeds on WiFi 5 and locally on LAN (where the bottleneck is the speed of the SSDs of the 2 PCs that transfer the files) and through the internet, which comfortably utilizes the full 100 Mbps VDSL from Cosmote. It is definitely worth giving the extra money it has, rather than struggling with cheaper USB sticks that won't even reach these speeds and will have random disconnections
I have had the antenna for about 3 weeks and so far I am completely satisfied with the range, speed, and the fact that I do not experience any lag. I should note that for some reason I was unable to download the driver from the company's website or through Windows. I installed it from the CD that came with the antenna.
I have had it for 8 years now, it works perfectly like the first day of purchase, EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!! 29/12/24 still works :D
