What can I say about this keyboard. I have worn it out. I have been ordering it for years for all my colleagues and they are all satisfied. I have tried various ones, but this one won me over.
Excellent for its price. It has been very helpful to me. It replaced the exact same keyboard that I had withdrawn due to a problem with the enter key. The backlit indicators are extremely useful. The button for the calculator and the Media Center control buttons are very convenient.
Edit 22/06/2022: It's garbage. It didn't even last a few months. You now need the strength of a bodybuilder to press the keys. Absolutely terrible!
Easy-to-use keyboard for everyday use at work. I replaced it with the same one after 3 years of continuous use, just because some letters faded. However, the keys remain functional and silent, just like the first day I bought it. I also really like the shortcut keys it has, such as print screen, calculator, etc
The Keyboard is excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants something simple and reliable for long hours of work from home or the office. It has quiet and soft keys, which make it ideal for heavy use. Plus, you don't have to worry about charging it because it uses a standard USB cable. At first, I had my doubts about its price, but along the way, I realized that it is truly worth it. It is mainly aimed at those who do not have specific requirements in terms of design and the durability that a premium keyboard like the Logitech MX Keys, for example, offers. I dare say that it is one of the smartest purchases I have made to date.
I bought it about 1 year ago for 30€.
The keyboard stopped working for some of the keys in the last 3-4 months, and I had to disconnect it from the USB port of the computer and reconnect it in order for all the keys to work again. Every day it got worse because a new key that didn't work was added.
Today, out of the 100+ keys, only 10 work no matter how many times I disconnect the keyboard or restart the computer.
I do not recommend buying it.
Search and find another keyboard of better quality, even if you have to pay 5-10€ more.
It is the 3rd one I am getting (for 2 computers), because the 1st one I had bought was somewhat "worn out" after many years of use (if I remember correctly, 6). The inconvenience of the old one mainly lies in its color, as I always choose white keyboards because I find black ones tiring to the eye. It is relatively quiet, not completely. But its durability and maintaining the feeling over time are guaranteed.
Flawless keyboard. Obviously low profile.
Extremely durable, the keys are just as functional, even after years.
MICROSOFT WIRED 600 - FOREVER -
Well, while most keys are relatively quiet, some make a click when pressed. Over time, the keys with noise increase. It's not so annoying, but it's not silent. Other than that, it's okay
Quality and functional keyboard, not for gamers, but for its price I believe it is the best.
The best for the money. The keyboard has both regular and Greek characters. All buttons for calculator, volume, etc. work perfectly.
It has the feel of a laptop. It is not very convenient for gaming. It is beautiful. It has smart buttons, for example, for the calculator as a shortcut. I bought it yesterday, I don't know how long it will last and if the keys will not wear out. It is soft, beautiful, and quiet. The space bar does not move, it is stable, which makes it easy to use
I have had it for about 8 years. It has served me very well. It is almost silent when typing and although the keys are close together, I have gotten used to it over time and now the mistakes are minimal, even though I have a classic HP keyboard at work. Very durable, my son uses it for gaming almost daily. Cleaning it with air and azax makes it look brand new again.
I have bought three, one in white, the first one six months ago, for my children. No complaints so far, they work perfectly. They have a sturdy feel, quiet keys. Worth its money.
This keyboard is in the classic standards of Microsoft keyboards. Good quality, great for office use, average for gaming needs (although it is much better than many in its category). The height of the keys is somewhere between a regular keyboard and a laptop. However, they are distinguishable to the touch. Personally, I adapted immediately. You should know that adjusting your hands to a new keyboard takes a little time depending on how different it is from your old one. Highly recommended
Although I have respect for Microsoft, this particular keyboard is below expectations. Its buttons are so small and close together that it's impossible not to make typing mistakes... it's definitely not suitable for gaming. I wouldn't buy it again... it's really uncomfortable
I had the previous model *2 (one in each office) for 10+ years. The new one is similar with slightly more comfortable and soft keys. I tried wireless keyboards from TRUST & LOGITEC, but they are not as convenient, at least for office use. It has easy access to ESC, F, the number pad, and additionally, it has illuminated indicators for NUM LOCK, CAPS LOCK, and SCROL LOCK, something that is missing from many wireless keyboards, for battery saving. Very good quality (tested from the past), affordable, and a super choice for office use.
I have had this keyboard for over 6 years and I can say that it is very good! Nice design, nice feel, I can also say it is durable. Of course, over time, the letters on the keys start to fade, but that is not a big problem.
Unacceptable for Microsoft! The volume button gets stuck from day one. Even keyboards that cost 5€ are not so poorly made. Choose something else.
I bought it for €12.60 on Black Friday and it is a very good keyboard. I had the 400 for a decade and I am fully satisfied.
There is a major issue with the setup of the buttons and their feel. Even after 6 months, you still miss and press whatever you want, it's not convenient. I bought 3, one for a friend, one for a colleague, and one for myself. None of them were satisfied. It works fine on a Mac, but the same issues persist there too!
It is a good keyboard, but the letters on some keys have faded after 2+ years of use.
I bought this keyboard after searching for a cheap and reliable keyboard for many hours of use at my office. I can say that the keystrokes are almost silent and the use of it is comfortable for my wrists due to the good elevation on the "feet". In conclusion, it is a decent keyboard for the basics.
edit: After typing a large amount of text, I can say that I found a personal drawback. The enter key is not in an inverted "L" shape as I was used to, and it gives me a little difficulty, but gradually I believe I will get used to it.
I have been using it for about 3 years and more for gaming. I can say that it is very convenient and also good for writing. It is worth its money.
Good keyboard for basic use. For simple use it's perfect, but for gaming the feeling of the keys and the ergonomics for the wrists can be tiring
This specific keyboard is value for money. Very comfortable for typing with relatively silent buttons. Restful for long hours of use.
After 2 years of owning it, I can say that it was worth more than the 15 euros. Fast typing with the low profile keys that I like, low noise but not silent, not suitable for typing long texts because it will tire you, but for an average user like me, it covers my needs.
The fact that the keys have a slightly harder feel compared to the first time is true, of course, nothing significant and not something that worsens, it is now stable. Also, two keys, "A" and "Alt", have slightly faded on the edge, the rest are like the first day. Overall, for an average user who wants to surf and engage in gaming, it is a good choice for their money.
I have it for some years now and I use it daily for many hours. It hasn't presented any problem and it is a decent keyboard for the money it costs.
Having used this keyboard for 2 years as a programmer, I have noticed the following. At first, it had soft keys and I liked it. After a few months, the combinations for language change (Alt+Shift) now require a harder press to work, while all the keys have hardened, resulting in my fingers getting much more tired after an 8-hour workday. You get what you pay for, even if it's Microsoft...
Incredible value for money. Super soft and silent keys. Minimal design with shortcut keys (computer, windows keys, volume control, play-pause, etc). Very good size, all keys are close together and you quickly get used to handling it without making spelling mistakes. It also has adjustable feet and sticks nicely on surfaces. It also has a driver to assign other shortcuts to the buttons if you want. The only negative is the letter prints on the keys. They give the impression that they will fade, although it hasn't happened to me personally as I use it a lot.
Whether this keyboard will be user-friendly for you depends on whether you like low profile keys. Low profile keys are usually found on laptop keyboards, with a "small distance" and a more indistinct feeling when pressed. Personally, they don't suit me at all, and as a result, I make a lot more typing mistakes on this keyboard and find it difficult to use (in addition, the distances between the keys are small). If you sigh with relief every time you switch from a laptop keyboard to a classic conventional keyboard, avoid the Microsoft 600, which has a similar feel.
