The DHT22 uses exclusive digital signal collection techniques and humidity detection technology and can output calibrated digital signals. Its small size, low power consumption, and long transmission distance (20 meters) allow the AM2302 to fit into all kinds of harsh applications. The power supply voltage should be between 3.3V and 6V DC. When power is supplied to the sensor, do not send instructions within one second to pass the unstable state. A 100nF capacitor can be added between VDD and GND for wave filtering.

One of the most user-friendly and useful sensors! I connected this one to Arduino and, together with a display, I made a thermometer/hygrometer for my home! There are ready-made and free libraries for programming it through the Arduino IDE, so I would say it is the best choice if you want to measure temperature and humidity. Finally, comparing it to other thermometers, I think the temperature measurements are reliable. Unfortunately, I don't have any other hygrometer to check the humidity measurements, but I don't think they will be bad either!
It works quite well and I have no problem. However, I don't know how reliable it is.
