As a lazy person, it's just what I need. It also has a fairly large storage space. Others that have a cup holder may be more practical. The downside is that in a case where the co-driver put a little extra weight to be comfortable, the console that attaches broke. So someone with screws will definitely be more stable.
It is the second similar armrest that I have installed. The Corsa E accessories catalog does not include an armrest, so I wanted to install one without drilling the central console. It lasted 6 years until it broke. I searched for others, even to drill the console, but the universal ones are stable and not adjustable in height, nor do they have vertical adjustment between the seats. And they are more expensive too.
This armrest is simply for resting the hand while driving to relax, not for leaning on with the elbow and putting weight, for example, to lift ourselves from the seat. It is not completely stable. It moves since it is supported on the edge inside the cup holders.
For anyone who wants an economical solution with adjustability, it is good.
For the money, it is a very "quick" and simple choice, without any fuss. You just screw the base that goes into the cup holders onto the rest of the construction, and then it "feminizes" into the cup holders. The base is stable and does not move. It goes in and out in an instant. It has storage space, relatively shallow but enough for small items we want to have handy. It rises with no effort at all and lowers with a button, at the "snout."
UPDATE: Unfortunately, after about 2 years, its plastics did not hold up. The side covers on the base started to come off and then the little teeth that keep the "lazy" at a different angle simply broke...
A very easy installation in the rear cup holders without screws.
