Stage 1 - Pre-filter: The pre-filter captures large particles that are visible to the naked eye such as pet and human hair, larger dust particles, lint, etc. It is washable and should be checked and cleaned at least once every 1-2 months. It depends on whether we have pets or fluffy objects in our space.

Stage 2 - True HEPA Filter: The HEPA filter captures very small particles that exist but are not visible to the naked eye. These include dust, allergens, mold spores, viruses, bacteria, pollen, particles from household materials and furniture, from pets, from humans, etc.

Stage 3 - Activated Carbon Filter: The Activated Carbon Filter absorbs toxic gaseous pollutants and odors that come from cigarette and fireplace smoke, exhaust fumes, smog, chemicals, cooking, pets, etc.
