Owner of the above laptop for over 1 year. The laptop is a star for the work I do (virtualization, photo/video editing, DJing, web development, and coding in general). I'm running Windows 11 Pro, if you want it for Linux, good luck figuring out the Nvidia drivers. I can say that with an additional 300 euros, I would have gone for the Legion model and it would have solved some issues I have, such as the MUX Switch (I would have liked it to be available in this model) and better cooling. What disappointed me was the out-of-the-box screen, but for this price, I wasn't expecting anything better. The colors are all very warm, with a yellowish tint especially in white, but this can be fixed by adjusting the colors to be cooler in the AMD control panel (i.e., as they should be). The temperatures are reasonable for a Ryzen processor (around 40 degrees) with the GPU reaching 60 degrees when under pressure. The fan is quite loud when running at full speed, but for me, it's not exactly a disadvantage as I prefer to hear some noise rather than have my CPU reach 70 degrees. Finally, I would like to add that the build quality is terrible, full of plastic, and it gets fingerprints very quickly (I'm constantly wiping it with a cloth). With the 1200 euros I paid for it, I expected at least aluminum. If you're interested in the build material, go straight to the corresponding Legion laptop.

At 1100 there is no better choice, 5800H, 165hz, IPS Panel, RTX 3060 Max Q which with custom bios you can make it Max P, sturdy construction and Lenovo warranty.
It is a Legion 5 with an Ideapad disguise, really, and 500 euros cheaper.
Now for the negatives: 1) The thermal paste on the processor and graphics card needs to be changed as soon as you get the laptop in your hands, it is very dry and inferior compared to aftermarket thermal paste.
2) My model came with a "problem": An entire sticker had fallen on the processor fan, resulting in crazy noise and requiring disassembly, which I did to remove it and clean the fan.
This change required me to remove the plastic but tightly fastened lid after several attempts, remove the entire heatsink carefully, remove the cables, and then clean the fan. As you can understand, the quality control on the cheaper models of Lenovo seems to be very low and this process would definitely force the average user to return their machine for repair, losing several days in the process.
3) The screen initially had no signal, while the RGB keyboard and fans were working fine, so I had to remove and reinsert the CMOS Battery to make it work again, another sign of very low quality control from Lenovo.
4) Lenovo's warranty started counting from the day the laptop was manufactured, in my case August 22, while I first received it in my hands in January 23, resulting in me losing 4 months of warranty initially. I am awaiting the dealership's response.

If we exclude all the aforementioned issues that most likely won't happen to everyone, this laptop is the best purchase ONLY in the GREEK MARKET, which will never see discounts on higher models at the price of 1100 as it happens daily abroad. If someone wants something at the same price and has the patience of 3-4 weeks for delivery from abroad for better deals on this specific model, they can save 200-300 euros.

I bought this laptop somewhere in November. For its price (I bought it for 1300), it is excellent, especially during this period when all laptops are very expensive. The next option was the MSI Katana, but I ended up with this one here.
It has an excellent keyboard, it is not completely thin, and it has a slight resistance when typing, which I find convenient. The touchpad is ideal in size for the laptop, the screen is quite bright with nice colors (maybe leaning towards warmer colors, but not intense), and it has a very good refresh rate. The camera has okay resolution with a switch to cover it when not in use.
Since I have tested it with games and editing programs, it has not reached high temperatures. I have not seen it go above 80 even with multiple programs running simultaneously (the game, Discord on a call, and Google Chrome open for streaming in the background). However, laptops have weaknesses. It only crashed once when I tried to render a 4k image without realizing it.
The build is mainly plastic, but good quality plastic. However, it collects a lot of fingerprints and smudges. I would prefer if it had an additional USB or Type-C port, but we can't have it all.
Overall, it is a good value for its price, and if you are looking for a budget laptop, I recommend it. Of course, it will be judged after a year entirely.
