The GESP product line includes the MikroTik GESP surge protective device and the GESP+POE-IN, a passive PoE injector with lightning protection.

It is important to ground the rail, tower, or any other structure that is connected to the ground. The use of surge protective devices at both ends of long cables is recommended for maximum protection.

GESP units absorb multiple impacts, but it is advisable to regularly check their condition. For attaching the units, it is suggested to use PVC zip ties, taking care not to tighten them excessively.
