Brushless Motor

Less wear, greater performance

The advantage that brushless motors have over brushed ones is that they do not have friction since there are no carbon brushes. Without carbon brushes, the motors are more efficient and have a longer lifespan as there is no wear and tear (the carbon brushes in brushed motors wear out with use). They produce less noise, maintain their torque consistently at all speeds, do not overheat, and require no maintenance.

This review is about the contents kit: 3x5Ah with Hard Case

I bought it because the previous Makita models in this category were too weak for me, and it didn't disappoint. It is the most powerful in the 18v range and 200g lighter than the DHP 481. However, for everyday use, you should get something else because it is excessively heavy. For example, I tried using a 3mm threaded plug, but it felt like I was trying to balance an elephant. Additionally, the weight absorbed the feeling of "anchoring" of the product.
