It leaves the hair very dehydrated and the hair doesn't feel soft at all. I have used other shampoos from apivita and I have generally noticed in comments that apivita shampoos can leave a "dryness" on the hair, but in most cases, this feeling of dryness can be controlled (e.g. with a hair mask or conditioner) and it is not as intense as with this shampoo.
As for the itching sensation, even though I didn't have such a symptom before, after washing with this specific one, I feel itching and it feels a bit heavy on the scalp.
I wouldn't generally recommend it, but obviously it can have different effects depending on the person and the phase of their life.
The shampoos from the company that personally work for me are "women's tonic" and "oily dandruff".
It is a very good general-purpose shampoo as it says. Having skin tendencies of dryness and dermatitis (not to an extreme degree though), I use it on the days/periods when I don't use medicated shampoos and it does the job (it has good ingredients that help in various conditions such as glycerin, tea tree oil, etc.). It is also quite good for volume/shine, etc. However, it is extremely inconvenient during shower time that it doesn't have a pump.
Compared to other shampoos from the same company, it produces a good amount of foam and cleans well. After washing, my hair was very soft, relieved any itchiness, and also has a nice subtle scent.
Hey, first of all, I'm talking about men who know... I start seeing various things on my hair, let's say that I don't have hair problems, it's fine, I just have something like dry skin and I occasionally have a few white flakes. I tried a small sample bottle of 20ml of this and it hasn't finished yet, I use a little bit and it foams nicely, it has a nice scent. And I see that it cleans my hair nicely, those flakes I had disappeared after using it two or three times. Now I want to buy the bottle because it's quite nice and does the job, of course it says it's for sensitive scalp, but for some reason, I like it. That's it!
Ok shampoo in general. I didn't like the feeling of it, it sits somewhat heavy on my hair. The packaging is small, it doesn't last in general. On the positive side, it didn't cause any itching or sensitivity, but overall I don't feel like it improved anything...
I bought it because I have sensitive skin and fine hair, and although it doesn't irritate the skin, it tangles the hair so much that it's a nightmare to detangle afterwards. The packaging is small, and in order to create foam, you have to empty half the bottle. On the positive side, it is one of the few products from apivita that doesn't contain SLS and it smells pleasant/soft
I bought it because it has fewer chemicals and, combined with lighter washes, I stopped shedding so much. However, after 1 year of use, the hair loss started again, so I don't know if it was ultimately due to that. I don't know if I will continue to purchase it because, besides the fact that the packaging is small and the price is high, it requires a considerable amount to create foam, and overall I have thin hair and not much of it, let alone for someone who has a lot.
Very effective on sensitive hair.
Much more effective than bigger and more expensive brands.
Personally, the only one that solved my dandruff and white flakes issue.
It is a shampoo that does not weigh down the hair and makes it feel clean. I think this is the most important thing, as well as the fact that it does not have the chemicals of other shampoos...
The most important difference of this shampoo compared to the others of the company is the absence of sulfates, which are accused of unpleasant effects on health. So theoretically, it is suitable for those who have sensitivities to the scalp or generally avoid chemicals.
Now, as for the result, I would say it is average. It has a very nice scent, it is economical to use as a small quantity is enough, but it doesn't give you a deep sense of cleanliness. Unfortunately, I hadn't tried the old version before the company was sold to the Spaniards, so I couldn't see if the quality has declined. I don't regret buying it, I will use it alternately with another one from the same series.
It is not suitable for dry skin. The only positive thing is that it does not have chemicals and parabens, so it is only good for your hair. But as for relieving itching and dryness, it simply does not...
