As a long-time user of Bosch hand tools, especially from the blue series, I am doubly disappointed with this product. Let's start with the exorbitant price, which is definitely not what we call value for money. It is manufactured in Mexico. The company ensures low production costs, an advantage that it probably keeps entirely for itself. The build quality is mediocre. The machine consists of two parts: the main body-motor and its base. In the first attempt to attach a cutting router by removing the base, the sharp, razor-like aluminum edge of the main body was revealed, which caused a quite serious injury to the hand. If you buy this product, you need to immediately smooth out the bottom side. The accessories, guides, etc., are few and of mediocre to poor quality, which does not suit a product that is characterized as professional. The power, although the cutting tools were new, does not seem sufficient for moderately hard woods. It comes with two chucks, for cutting diameters of 6 and 8 millimeters. I considered it obvious that I could buy a 1/4-inch chuck, so that I could make use of the many 1/4-inch cutting tools that I used in a fixed base router, also Bosch. Unfortunately, and I blame Bosch for this, such a chuck is not available in Greece. I bought an expensive, authentic Bosch 1/4-inch chuck from England (20€!), but unfortunately, it does not fit in the European-style "nest," which is also Bosch! The tool is small in volume and weight, so it is comfortable to handle. If a serious cutting tool is mounted, it does not produce vibrations. It has a long cord. It comes with a plastic carrying case.
Very good router, very few vibrations, very good center of gravity accuracy, very convenient to hold, four years of work without any service, I had two similar brand and price routers and the motor burned out in a year and a half of work.
